A question when you create an XsitePro site

When you create an XsitePro site, let's say it has 10 pages...do you create ALL pages within XsitePro and then upload it, or do you upload only 5 pages and wait for Google to index them 1st?

And then upload the next 5 after a month or so?

What's the best approach in terms of SEO?

Thanks in advance.

    Anyone?

I'm referring to a small site that you create with XSite Pro that just has 10 pages.

    What's the best practice?

Not sure what you mean about best practice.
What I meant was if you have all the content ready...and you have basically finished creating the entire site in XSitePro on your desktop, but you want Google to think your site has grown further...

So is it better to just start the site out with 5 pages...and then the next 5 pages...rather than creating all the pages and uploading them all into the domain?

      Hi,

If i have 10 pages ready, i normally launch it with 5 pages than schedule remaining on interval of 3 days to a week.

it helps in keeping site updated regularly with fresh content, hope it helps.

I usually start with 10 pages at least of content on a new site - with the extra contact and privacy, etc pages the site I upload is 20-22 pages or so.
You could start with five - but don't wait a month to add new content - do it at least weekly for the first couple of months. Twice a week is even better.

Start with 5-6 pages (home page plus five content or product pages) and then add one new page every 1-2 weeks. Set up a page for articles and also add a blog to the site. You can get free original content (spun) added to the blog automatically by using either Unique Article Wizard or Syndicate Kahuna. Syndicate Kahuna is free and I'm pretty sure UAW is too.

You'll want to "train" the search engine spiders to come to your site on a regular basis by adding the new content at regular intervals. The problem with trying to add content too often is it's going to become harder to do once you get beyond a certain number of sites.

Having content coming into your blog regularly will help you. Make sure you link your pages together properly and get lots of related links from other sites.

        Good luck.

          Dellco,

Basically it really will not matter too much either way in the long run, but technically uploading 5 pages first then adding to it would work a little better. As people have already mentioned and as you probably already know, the key is to keep adding content to it and/or adding more links to it from article directories, submission directories, blog post comments, etc over time. The exact amount you should do this is in dispute among IMers. Just recognize many people believe you should get links from various sources and not to get too many at any one time as it will appear suspicious. It is good to try to learn some basic SEO, but don't get consumed by it. Good content will always get you more traffic and higher Page Rank scores in the long run.

          Best,
