I'm frustrated of my newly bought GoDaddy domain

If you very recently changed the nameservers, it may not have resolved yet. When did you do that and make sure the right nameservers are there. It can sometimes (not always) take several days for a domain name to resolve.

It was like an hour ago. The nameservers are correct.

I have this problem a lot with newer websites especially if I visit the page before the nameservers are correct

For godaddy domains, it may took up to 24 hours to propagate on the DNS server.

Secondly, you may try to clean your browser cookies and also reset/clear your PC cache if it still don't work after 24 hours.

I bought a few domains from godaddy too, and all of them propagated after 24 hours only.

When I register domains and update the nameservers it usually resolves within a few hours but once it took almost 48 hours until my website was available so you might have to just wait a bit longer. If it's been longer than that then contact GoDaddy support and see what they have to say.

I am still waiting for this though. I should have registered that domain in NameCheap instead of GoDaddy. This really makes me so frustrated, coz' I cannot wait to take action on what I am suppose to experiment on. Newly registered domains can't be transferred until they are 60 days old.

A very bad decision on registering this with GoDaddy, I should have put NameCheap in my mind. Ten bucks of waste (should have used coupon but there is no "Enter Coupon Code" when I bought my new domain. This one delayed my day, my BAD! Stupid me.

If it was just an hour, you may have to wait up to 48 hrs. Godaddy responded in this thread and offered to check it out for you.

This is very frustrating I know! However I have a couple similar issues and this is how I resolved them.
1. Give everything 3-5 hours to update successfully
2. Refresh your page, clear your cookies and cache
3. If you're typing in your name server verifation information copy and paste it from the original email
4. If you're copying and pasting the name server information try typing it in manually

How is this godaddy's fault? You're not even using their nameservers. Did you check to see that the IP Addresses are correct?

Didn't you know? It's always GoDaddy's fault. I swear, the grief that they get in this forum is unreal. Over a decade with them (HUNDREDS of domains) and I can count on one hand the number of outages I've had while hosted with them.

No...I dont have access to his cPanel. He provided me with a different cPanel login details under my main domain.

I have already set them to GoDaddy's default and edited the A record under DNS manager, which the customer support from the hosting company provided me the public IP address that would be assigned to this domain suggested. It was detected that the new domain I have was assigned to a local IP and not public.

You can use pagewash.com to check the latest look of your site even DNS or nameservers are not propagated fully.

Hey like everyone else has already stated, it can sometimes take a few hours or even a few days. I have noticed that if you visit the site before the nameservers are changed then you will see the error message.

When this happens I always check by using my smart phone browser and it shows my sites.

It shouldn't take too long, have you cleared your cookies and cache? If it doesn't work make sure you contact your hosting company. You can also you HMA to check to see if everything is working, or if it is just you.

I already contacted them and they replied, but it doesn't help. They only showed me the stats of my domain's nameservers, and they told me that I need to refresh the zone file by contacting the hosting provider (which I don't know what web hosting it is because the nameservers are private). My domains are assigned to my friend's shared web hosting account, which he only gave me cPanel details and nothing else. I already contacted him but still waiting for his response.

I've already done that, clearing the cache and cookies, still nothing. My blogs are hosted from a shared web hosting plan, and I tried to contact my friend on what web hosting company are my blogs being hosted, because the nameservers attached are "private".

I tried PageWash, and this happened:

The proxy can't access that server, sorry.

The owner of this proxy has restricted which servers it can access, presumably for security or bandwidth reasons. The server you just tried to access is not on the list of allowed servers.

I double or triple check my nameservers, and they are all spelled correctly. But still this issue has not resolved as of today. It's 12 hours and counting.

Try a "proxy server" (e.g. hidemyass.com) and see if something shows up. If the
domain name displays its intended website through that, then it is just a matter
of how soon your Internet Service Provider "catches on" with the change.

It's one of those things that no single entity has complete and full control over,
alas.

It's possible the OP only knows the nameservers themselves and not the specifics
behind them (e.g. IP address, A-records, etc.). No one's born knowing any of this,
after all.

It is always straight forward except when I mispell the domain in one spot or another...Happened the other day and I just was about to start cursing until I realized I had spelled the domain wrong .......again...

Unless the nameserver is protected from the public, you would be able to do a whois to see who it belongs to. I'm with the majority that it sometimes takes time whether it is GoDaddy or Namecheap and I use both and have experienced the delay issues on occasion.

UPDATE: Finally, everything's resolved. The IP change of A Name did the trick. Now I can finally see my new domain. From now on, I will do this every time I buy a niche domain.

EDIT: Site has gone down again just now after I have installed basic Wordpress plugins.

Ok, I have been using Go daddy for a lot of time, several years and sometimes it just takes time to show on the internet. There is one tool you can try, open the site up by a third party website. I use WebPagetest - Website Performance and Optimization Test to see what the website looks like from several locations. Sometimes, its juts my ISP that does not update the DNS on my end, but others can see the updates changes.

What you are referring to and the issues you are having are not Go daddy related.
