EzineArticles WordPress Plugin

It's simple to understand and know it's value.

Once you add Ezinearticles plugin to your wordpress, every article you publish on your WP blog will be easily/automatically submitted to EZA too for publication.

Well, I'm an article marketer, and I use Ezine Articles, but let me say straight away that I'm not a Wordpress user.

This plug-in was available for a long time, then it was withdrawn for a while, and now it's available again.

I like it. Not for the same reason that anyone else likes it, but simply because when people make posts here saying "Ezine Articles won't publish articles that have already been published on your blog" (obviously total nonsense!), it enables me to say "Then why do they have a plug-in for people to publish on their own blog first and at the same time submit their article to EZA's approval process for subsequent publication there?".

All that said, if I used Wordpress, I wouldn't be using this plug-in, myself. For four main reasons ...

(i) You need a different resource-box at Ezine Articles from the one you'd have on your own site anyway? (The traffic reading the article on your own site is already there, right? )

(ii) It takes only a minute to submit an article to EZA by hand anyway

(iii) Contrary to what many people mistakenly believe, EZA is sometimes surprisingly quick at approving and publishing an article, and the last thing you'd want to happen is for them to do so before the copy on your own site has been indexed by Google, and you can bet your bottom lira that EZA gets indexed by Google more quickly and regularly than your site and mine!

(iv) I don't trust unnecessary technology, myself, and I look for ways to avoid it whenever I can. It seems to me, over the last 4 years, that the less I try to automate, the more I earn. I suspect that automation is secretly the enemy of quality, on some level.

Call me pedantic, but article marketing isn't about promoting and maketing the article: it's about using the article to promote and market your landing page.

I wouldn't want to put anyone off the idea using it, if they really want to ... as long as they're certain that (a) their own copy will always be indexed first and (b) they can do the resource-box for the EZA copy exactly how they want it to be, before submitting the article (bear in mind I've never actually seen this toy, myself, simply because I stay away from Wordpress, so I have no idea how easy/difficult that last point is! ).

I think the benefit from it is very small, anyway? All it saves you from doing is logging in to EZA, pasting your article and resource-box into the boxes there, and submitting it? How long does this take?
