Pls help! Flippa-Paypal Issue!!!

I've already emailed to both.

But I wonder if any warrior here faced the same issue:

I'd like to know why my buyers face paypal issue when they pay through Flippa to my paypal account. Their money is reversed even though they try to do it several times. But when they pay directly to my paypal, no issue at all.

I'm experiencing this trouble since Flippa updated their listing format on 3rd December, 2012. They really made significant changes to Flippa overall. But before that I never had Paypal issues with my Flippa buyers.

Please help with any tip or advice. Otherwise this is frustrating both for me & my buyers.

Thanks

That's a new one. Haven't heard this problem before. I haven't used Flippa for awhile though and never got paid via a Paypal link in Flippa. Sounds like it's better to do it the old fashioned way and either send them a Paypal invoice (which is what I would do) or have them send the money to you directly.

So you never got paid via a Paypal link in Flippa? But some buyers even do this once they win the auction. So how it can be that you never got paid through Paypal?

Flippa had a link that said "allow bidders to pay via PP immediately" on the BIN option and if you didn't check that, you just had to make payment arrangements with the buyer. As far as I know, they didn't have a "pay with PP" link in the transaction area. At least I never saw that before and none of my buyers used it. Like I said, it's been quite awhile since I've listed on Flippa.

I think getting paid directly from your client to your paypal will quickly solve the issue.. But do tell flippa about it so in future you could it via flippa directly.

I'm already using that direct option, but today one buyer who BINed on my website, refused to pay directly, he told he prefers to pay through paypal. So now i'm waiting for the response from both companies.

The same thing started to happen to me since the same date you stated.. All payments made through Flippa link (BIN button) got reversed to buyer..I emailed to both parties, flippa and paypal, but they both say that it's not problem on their side..I even called paypal on the phone and they say everything is perfectly fine..Flippa says: no problem at all..

So both of these big companies have no clue what is happening and obviously something is happening..
This is how I resolved this issue on my own: I have disabled option for BIN buyers to be taken to paypal to end the auction..I just accept their BIN bid, and then send them an email to send me payment directly..
It was easier before when they could just BIN and pay through paypal immediatelly though..
I lost a few big buyers because of this issue back in the start of December..

Thank you for your sharing. Can you tell me the country your paypal is registered with? & Your Primary currency in Paypal?

I never choose the option to require the buyer to immediately pay via their paypal. I just put BIN button & let them pay within several days, because they might not have the necessary amount in their paypal when they bid BIN.

But the issue is that though I tell my buyers to pay directly to my Paypal with the note of the website url, they try to pay through Flippa - so i understand it's a matter of trust ... But still looking for another better solution ...

I wonder what Flippa & Paypal will reply to me ...
