A Fair Way To Share Profits? What's Your Suggestion?

I'm wondering if there's any way to sell your own product and split the profits in a way where each party is protected. An example would be a system where both people could log in using their own passwords and see how many were sold.
Perhaps nothing like that exists, but there must be some way to do it without setting up an affiliate program.

I'm asking because I want to sell my background music for people to use in their videos, and I'd like to use Paypal, at least to start and get a feel for what sells. However, I'm also wanting to partner with list owners, therefore it would need to be a system where both parties could share the profits.

Anyone have any suggestions? I want to avoid setting up an affiliate program, because of the learning curve, the time involved, and a few other factors. Maybe I should just go it alone for a while?

ClickBank has suggestions for you (I'm not referring just to the fact that they handle affiliate payments: they have special facilities which enable almost all kinds of other arrangements, too - take a look?) Joint Venture

Create an affiliate program and you could both have your own url to promote.

      Simple as pie.

You can use E-Junkie.com and I think it only cost like $5-$10 last time I used it.

        Wow, thanks for your suggestions.

E-junkie would solve my file delivery problem, so I think I'll at least use it for that reason alone. But that's interesting about CB; I never knew they had a JV option.

Now, another issue I've been considering is that I need a place for a sales letter, and I'm thinking of using Warriorforum again. But, does anyone know if it would be possible to use e-junkie to create an affiliate url from a warriorforum listing? I don't know if that's possible with this site/allowed by this site, etc. This would be the simplest and most straightforward way for me to sell. Thanks.

I don't think this site has rules about how you collect/divide the money for a product/service you advertise here? It's going to be a question of whether e-Junkie allows it? Note that e-Junkie is a product delivery service, more than anything else: they don't collect the money (you need to use PayPal, or ClickBank, or 2Checkout, or some other processor they work with, for that).

Thanks, Alexa. I'm actually planning on using Paypal in conjunction with it, and I guess I forgot to mention that

I guess I'm wondering about the technical side of it. I've never been an affiliate vendor, so I don't know whether it's possible to make pretty much any web address into an affiliate url or not.

Edit: Okay, I think I remember how this works now. They just add an affiliate code to the link you give your affiliates, and they use that to track everything. I don't know why I forgot that.
