Graphic design is what I outsource the fastest. There are so many good deals out there. I've actually gotten ebook covers off Fiverr.com that were better than ones my friends paid $300 for.

Depends on data. Whats your niche?

After you know, then things like: other blogs within that niche, companies that cater to that niche, prominent people in that niche, etc

        hope that helps

I hire folks I know personally or I use the Warrior Forum "Warriors for hire" section and the "warriors looking to hire you" section.

Although, I've also used Digital Point to hire folks before.

        Hope this helps.

Or the right talent. I mean most people know how to work Photoshop, but it takes alot more then that to put together something really good looking.

      Just my opinion ...

I'm not sure this is true, you can do amazing things with photoshop, but it's obviously still a cost for the software.

Personally, I don't outsource anything because I like to learn as much as I can. Plus, I have quite a bit of time to do it. It helps me to become completely self sufficient. I've done graphic work for others an had great feedback only using photoshop. I make money with my own android apps as well as IM. All coding and design for that was picked up from tutorials online.

Just my opinion but if you have the time to spend learning, outsourcing can all of a sudden seem like an unnecessary expense.

You do everything yourself??? How much time does that take? That seems very taxing! Is it strictly because of financial reasons... or do you really like to learn all the aspects of the business?

I love to learn how it all works. I spend money on traffic generation like solo ads once I've spent the time setting up a sales funnel, for example, so it's not so much a financial decision. I do have to do a u-turn on my original statement though because I do use Fiverr to have videos made for me. As mentioned in the previous post, I don't have the software (or appropriate accent!) for this

Yeah the quality can be great if you search around a bit. It's worth saving a list of your favourite sellers once you find them so you can go back to them.

I use Fiverr for voice over work and video intros mainly. You know the video intros that have an all dancing version of your logo with backgroud music? That type of thing

I don't really like the word "outsource". I work with talented people both on the same continent and elsewhere. Often "outsource" can mean cheap labor. I sometimes work with a Romanian programmer that charges more than low level programmers in Silicon Valley. I also know some Russian programmers that are considerably less. I was at a symposium put on by Odesk and Google had a representative there, and they too hire on Odesk.

Outsource only has 'cheap' connotations in the online community. In brick and mortar business's it can be anything but cheap.

Everything but my core competency which is copywriting. I've found that is really the only aspect of IM which you can't have a good job done cheaply.

Apart from that, pretty much everything else can be taught in a short training video.

I use Odesk quite a bit but more and more I am experimenting with alternative sources - e.g. contacting universities, posting on specific niche forums for writers etc...

    Hi Jack,

I've been a VA for several years now and I've seen a lot of things outsourced. I think you can pretty much outsource anything from your business as long as you give your people the right training. It all depends on what you're willing to outsource.

Reason I ask is because I'm a couple months out from launching a youtube campaign, could use some good advice.

One thing that simply gets me everytime.

And this is one of the most constructive questions in WF since I have been here.

As a businessman, I understand that as long as you know what you are doing and who you are doing business with ,outsourcing ( provided you get value for money and can afford it) wins everytime.

There are people i hear crying , that they are working so many hours and don't know where to turn , buy this and that ( overtime adding up to hundreds if not thousands) not to mention the cost of their time , which they never factor in .

If you are unemployed well, yes .. you may think that you have nothing better to do than to do it yourself... wrong get a job and then outsource to the extent that you can afford.

The internet dream is loads of money and lots of free time , yet there are people slaving away 20 hours a day chained to their laptops/pcs.

Now I am not saying that if you do it yourself , that you will not eventually become successful , but it will generally take alot longer , and your chances of success will be far slimmer.

I hear all the moralizing of so called successful marketers about starting from scratch and all that rubbish... bull.

I am successful offline... and it is bull off line and so it is online.

Hold on to your day job and use it to finance your controlled outsourcing ( knowing what is involved - you are the manager- you get the outsourcees to do the work). Don't finance more than you can comfortabley afford but if you want it reasonaly quickly unless you are exceptionally lucky with exceptional IM abilities , learning how to out source is your most important skill.

Another thing that gets me is that alot of the questions I see asked would be solved just by googling it and buying the appropriate product. One has to take some of the information given out here as guess work , well intentioned but guess work none the less

Oh wow you're right! Security! That completely went unnoticed. Do you currently outsource security? If so, may I ask who you use?

Well if you don't have the talents, it is better to let another person do it for you. Finding the right one will be hard but not impossible. I myself don't have a knack for article writing, so I outsource this service. I use oDesk freelancer to do this from me, these guy works is not bad, he is discipline and a easy to communicate. Good luck finding the one mate!

Research for article writing. And also rough drafts for my simple/low dollar projects from old clients, which usually take about 15 minutes to edit for an easy profit.

    I outsource guest posting.

I have several niches, and I outsource someone to find blogs we can guest post on...this is our focus in 2013 and so far, has paid dividends well.
