Go to the top forums of the niche you are trying to write about, and you will find all the topics you need there. Many questions get asked in forums, so you can write about solutions to these problems. Try to find topics with 500+ replies, so you know it's something people want to talk about.

This. Another tactic that you can use is to use the Google Keyword Tool to find the most searched for questions and problems in your niche. Then you can write various posts and articles answering all of those questions.

When I need an idea for an article, I just google "My Niche PLR"

I go to the plr site and look at the titles of the articles, I usually do not buy the PLR, I just look at the titles and that gives me some ideas on what to write about. Then I do a bit of research and write the article.

It is not a bad idea to outsource posting work if you are not really sure about it. There are specialist forum posters that can do the job for you with great quality. about their work.

I agree with the poster who mentioned doing a Google Alert. You might also want to subscribe to niche magazines on these topics, to stay current on hot topics and help know what themes are favorites, especially for different time periods.

You could also try some interactive posts, asking your readers what they want to know about, using these answers to help create blog post ideas.

        Congratulations on having 22 blogs/sites!

Depending on your niche, set up a google alert for it. If your stuck, maybe a news story will give you something to write about, comment on, or give you something to get mad about. It's an old tool, but still useful.

Great idea about the forum discussions and the Google alerts.

I don't know how you can run so many sites. I started out with more than I could handle and eventually focused on a handful. I write my own content and constantly test density, etc. My main focus is writing something someone wants to read. And I read, read, read.

    Good luck tac!

If your niche releases magazines, visit magazines.com buy a couple and you will get the idea.

If you subscribe the digital copy, you can crop *unique* HD images out of it. Google images search brings in a lot of viral traffic.

Search google for your topic with quotes, use various search filters using advanced search options. Visit resultant top 10 websites, have a look, take ideas.

Kill that silly writer's block simply by installing Dragon Naturally Speaking. Instead of typing speak your articles and your PC will take notes just an assistant. It is kind of expensive software though.

I bought my copy recently and is working great for me.

    I hope this work!

The more your post is related to the niche the more quality it would have. In other words the post should make the reader think and act!

I brainstorm, mostly and I go to forums and pick up a couple of ideas! I write what interests me, I don't care about "trends" for instance! I wouldn't write about Facebook or Twitter but I would write on article marketing and content writing from many different angles!

Take 5 main topics and draw branches....then on each of them...come up with an idea..you'll be surprised how well this work! Our brain is non linear and that's why this way of brainstorming works really well!

Also, listen to whatever pops into your head even though you're doing something else such as shopping for instance! Creativity is a wonderful too that can/ should/ must be used in internet marketing too!

    Good luck!

I just take the questions that my subscribers are asking me and turn that question into an email for the rest of my subscribers. If one wants to know 50 are too lazy to ask the question. Another 100 never knew that they needed to ask the question.

I set up google alerts on my niche subjects and have them come up once a day. When I get blocked I scan what the alerts have brought up and that helps to give me an idea. Also if you are interested in being "cutting edge" you can keep an eye on various "trending topics" on various sources, that may spark an idea to tie your niche in with a trending topic. OK, good luck, Ed.

300,000 words per year... Hmmm... That's 1000 blog posts a year. The OP has 22 blogs so that's around 49 posts per blog per year. That's a round 1 post per week. Not enough. Try for something closer to 900,000 words per year. This might sound like a big number but I write over 12500 words per day. I know from experience that this is doable. The secret is to challenge yourself daily.

If you're getting stuck on ideas, you might want to outsource the idea generation portion of the work. In other words, ask a freelancer or an article writing service for 50 titles (450 words or less). It'll cost you $5. If half of them are a drag, you still have 25 titles to get writing on for practically nothing. That's better than beating your brains out for a subject.

Read three different articles written by other authors about your topic. Then rewrite everything you remember from what you read in your own words, adding your personal points of view.

If you have time you can read many documents about your topic and write something special, based on your own research about something. Read everything you can about what you intend to say, and you will have many ideas.

Whenever you don’t know what to write, read what other people wrote about this matter. Many times you won't rewrite what they said, but write the opposite of what they said because you’ll disagree with them. Reading is the best thing a writer can do to find inspiration and information.

    Hello

Another good idea would be to visit other niche related blogs and also articles on the article directories to find out what other marketers are writing about.

Pick the articles that interest you, take notes of key points and ideas that stand out and simply create your own 400+ word articles based on that.

It's always good to get a little inspiration from others when you are stuck.

Focus on one site and become the authority in that niche. The more information you know about a niche, the easier coming up with content will be. I always think that if you're a true expert in your niche... coming up with new content should be a cinch.

But then again... even EzineArticles offer article template packs lol.

I usually look on answer sites, like answers.yahoo.com to see what people want to know. Then do some searches for that question, so see how well it is answered, and then if you're interested in getting it to rank, how competitive it is.

Once I know what it is I'm going to write about, I research, and read.
