I need a simple Membership solution for Wordpress...

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey Warriors, I need your opinion (especially those with expertise in membership sites)...

I'm about to launch a physical product, but in combination with it, they will get access to a members only area. The main index page will be all html, but the members area will be on Wordpress in a directory like /members for example.

What is the easiest solution to implement this, but also gives me control in case I need to terminate members, etc. ?

I don't need all kinds of bells and whistles.

Digital access pass seems like a good fit for you mate.

From what I know s2member does a fairly good job, I haven't used it myself though.

  Nope mate, can't say I did. Come to think about it, I never heard of it either.
  The sales page looks good though, it might do a pretty good job.

Optimize Press and s2member. Both work well with WordPress. You will be able to integrate all your pages together (having them match).

Then you can get rid of your HTML page.

With s2member, can I simply protect my directory that has Wordpress on it?

This will be the "member area". I would like to protect the whole thing.

So basically I want to setup everything like this...

Homepage --> Order via E-Junkie --> send to combo "thank you" page plus signup to member area

OptimizePress is NOT a membership solution by itself.

OptimizePress is only a template for the design of the members area. You will still need to integrate the OptimizePress theme with a membership plugin/solution to have the capabilities of protecting content, registering and deleting users, etc.
