150 VISITORS A DAY, SHOULD I USE PPC OR AFFILIATE AD'S?

My site is currently getting around 150 uniques a day, what's the best way to monetize small traffic like that? PPC or Affiliate ad's?

  • Whats your site about? Check out where most of your traffic is coming from, what keyword they're using if its search engine traffic and go from there.

    • It's in the cannabis niche, all my traffic would most likely be cannabis users.

  • Have you got google adsense account? if not, why not sign up for one?. Here's my suggestion, to really enjoy the benefit of google adsense, you need to work on getting more traffic.

    Guest blogging and every other means possible. Set your self a target to get 1000 site visitors a day. At that level you will reap the benefit of adsense.

    • i tried adsense already, it is not allowed on my cannabis niche site lol. Im currently using a PPC campaign that is made for marijuana websites... i get only about 3-4$ a month so im thinking about switching to a good affiliate campaign, meantime i will be boosting traffic.
  • If its targeted visitors, I'll choose affiliate rather than cpc.. You'll need much more visitors to give you decent money using cpc..

    At least start off with one, then test out the other one.

    You never know what is going to be more profitable until you actually use both of them.

    I can't tell you how many times I thought X would so much better than Y only to find out it was the complete opposite.

    And the same could be true here.

  • How about promoting a Clickbank product on getting off drugs.

    I can't imagine Adsense would allow you to run their ads on a site like that unless its about stopping cannibis use.

    • That's a good thought actually lol, but most of my visitors are dedicated stoners and would be offended by that.
  • Given the niche I would go affiliate - esp if it growers. Do some research on adsense and what the payout would be if it were ads. Also - build up a list
