Hi
Im Cheryl and I just found out about this forum.
I have been reading here lots and I gotta say yall got some excellent content here.....all meat no fluff and I appreciate that so much!
I have been marketing on the internet for 13 years and I have still not accomplished my alll I would like to.
I have spent more money than than I care to say on courses that are all fluff and no meat.
I need an internet marketing course that is the real deal and not just some guru selling another book or another system.
I need something simple that I can offer to other desperate marketers out there so they can succeed.
I need your help, advise, encouragement and wisdom so please don't hesitate to give me your 2 cents.
I am looking forward to growing and learning here at the Warrior forum.
Thanks in Advance!

Ok so you want to market to beginners. What research have you done? I can help you out with the whole process (research, website, content) if you want. Just PM me. Key questions: will the end product be an ebook? A video course? A membership site?

      Hi cheryl,

      Welcome to the forum.

You say you spent alot of money on courses in the past. So you probably got alot of courses and ebooks on your hard drive, right?

I would recommend not buying any more stuff!!!

Sorry, didn't mean to yell at you. Seriously, what I would do if I was you is go back and reread all that stuff on your hard drive there is probably alot more meat in those ebooks than you think.

I look at all the stuff that I bought when I got started and say "WOW" because at first I thought they where garbage but now when I reread them I see all the stuff that I missed in those ebooks because I was reading them with untrained eyes.

If you have spent alot of money buying ebooks then there is gold on your hard drive already I promise. Read "acres of diamonds". Your hard drive is the diamond mine don't pass it up.

Pick one of those ebooks you already have and put some of it to use. You just may be surprised.

      Good luck,
      Terry

        Cheryl, my personal opinion.

Get Nitro Marketing Blueprint. It isn't my product, but in my opinion, it is
the most solid step by step, from scratch product out there. And I don't rave
about many products but this one really is solid.

Do you already have the skills to market an affiliate product? If you do, I can recommend some that provide value to others...

wealthy affiliate (good for teaching people clickbank, affiliate, and article marketing)

Magnetic sponsoring is a good system to be an affiliate for if you want to help struggling MLM'ers

Both of those will help you with how to market as well.

Another one that you may not have heard of is Jonathan Budd. He knows HOW to market...very smart and he provides a TON of value...I have learned everything I know from Jonathan

I understand your frustration, because I have spent thousands, BUT think of it this way... all those failures are the bricks to the road to success. You have to take action and fail often. I can give you specific tips on marketing if you want...I believe in two things. (more than that but)

"work harder on yourself than you do on your business" Jim Rohn
"help enough other people get what THEY want and you can have EVERYTHING YOU want." -zig ziglar
ask those questions and your service to others will bring you Massive INCOME. It's true...

          to your success

By all means get the product Steven recommends, it may be just what you need. However, you say you've been in IM for 13 years. What have you learned in that time? You see, I think we need to know a bit more about what you've been doing and what you know before any advice is given. The chances are you know a helluva lot more than you give yourself credit for.

The answers to your problems may not lie in yet another IM product, not because there's nothing good in them, but because, by your own admission, you've bought a lot over the years and yet you're still looking for the one that works!

Not to get too hippy here, but look inside yourself first. Study and analyse what you already know. Really go to town on this and don't be too surprised with how much you already know and how much you can answer your questions.

          Good luck

          Peter

    Hi Cheryl,

    Welcome to the forum. =)

13 years have been a long time and for the fact you are still pushing shows how determined you are to succeed.

In my own opinion, this Warrior Forum offers a load of gems for you to start off right now.

I am sure you must have lots of materials collected from your courses and other purchases.

Personally, I do have some questions for you.

    1. what methods have you tested out?
    2. how long did you spend on any one method?
    3. what was going through your mind when your method didnt work out at first?

Would love to hear from you more so we can provide more tips catered to you.

    Cheers,
    John

If you want to develop minisites on keywords or themes, you should look at Cam Forbes new software.

He has an interview he just did that he posted you should listen to:

Hello Cheryl. Welcome to the forum! My suggestion would be to select 1 or 2 experienced Internet marketers you can trust and implement their strategies and track your results.

It is a good idea to figure out what your skills are. For instance I can write, but I have no web design or coding skills, so I am starting to partner up with people who do.

Some of the main ways that people are making money with internet marketing are:

Trade your services for money - write, design or code for people
          Promote Affiliate Products
Adsense - I have an adsense site, and it was a lot of work to get steady traffic to it. Affiliate sales have more potential.
FINAL STEP- once you can actually make money online, then start teaching others how to do so, and start creating your own products.

          Did I miss anything, guys?

If you've been involved in internet marketing for 13 years the LAST thing you need is another course.

What you do need to do is apply a few key things you know seriously for an extended period of time till you get substantial results.

And you can record everything you do (perhaps with simple free screencast software like Jing) and sell your step by step details of what you did as a product.

            Kindest regards,
            Andrew Cavanagh

Thanks to everyone who responded. I've learned bunches.

I would agree that going back and reviewing things is key. I have tons of information and I keep searching. When I can't find my answers I always end up going back and looking at what I already have and more times than not, I learn something new AND get the answers to my questions.

This is a wonderful forum to hang around. Between all of the internet marketing courses and posting here and checking out people's posts here, I really think that's all that you need. One more thought:

What has worked for you in the past in internet marketing, even in a small way? Adsense, affiliate? Whatever has worked for you, increase your efforts in that area. Post on here and ask for help. Focus on what has worked and refine and improve that, rather than continuing to pay good money looking for the ultimate easy solution. There is no easy solution.

      Hi Alex, Good point made.

What is next for Cheryl after she got into this forum?

Ask questions. Clarify ALL query so she can move ahead, no matter how small the step is.

The problem is some members feel their questions are "stupid". There is no such as "stupid" question.

If there are, I have asked many stupid questions when I first started off.

I ask questions like "what is a blog?", "what is wordpress?", "internet can help make money? " or "why we need traffic?" etc.

      So ask questions =)

      Cheers,
      John
