All of this child theme stuff has really thrown a wrench in my progress.
Ok i found my niche, done the keyword research, purchased a domain, uploaded wordpress, ready to build products and put down some serious writing and the I'm hit with, oh and 1 more thing you need a child theme. Not only do you need a child theme Carolyn but it comes with a slight learning curb mixed with a little filezilla and hold wait don't forget these videos you'll be watching for the next 2 days because no one is talking about working with the child theme only how to add the darn thing. Oh and when i finally do find someone willing to explain, how to access the files and finally how to connect, the tediousness of creating folders names passing words??!!?!
I don't have time for this I have a budget, i just want to get my solutions out to my niche before some else stumbles upon these keywords and outsources the whole thing...and that would defeat the purpose of me researching this elusive niche of people for almost a month and finally starting to take action.....sighs
To add more on top of that, this comes only after weeks of preparing.
My questions are,
What part of this should i outsource, because i cant even see how to, get my hostgator hosted website in filezilla, I'm sick of this, I just want to get started building my site and this round and round check dns servers for id and passwords to jump over the moon and paint rainbows is getting ridiculous!
Will someone give me an overall view of child themes outside of uploading.
Can I just skip the child theme?
Can I not edit the child theme and just edit the theme it's self?
Which time saving and effective outsourcing is most beneficial when setting up wordpress websites, not design, set up. "from the CPanel and site theme editing portion.
