Video or Slideshow?

Hi Warriors,

Could you please do me a HUGE favor and give me your opinion for the banner on my website (see signature). I'm in the process of looking at updating the video since I've added new products and would like to make it more of a presentation rather than a story board cartoon, but I wonder if a slideshow would be more effective. The current video has only had 704 views in the last 6 months or so, and I get a lot more traffic than that a month.

In your opinion, would you be more inclined to sign up and place an order if you saw the video, or a few slideshows, or even if you would watch the video?

It's expensive to build a new video so would prefer to change my mind now rather than later about the slide.

Any advice appreciated,

    First off, I quite like the video but thats just me ...

    Now here is the only advice you will need: Split test! Go out and make a slide show and a video, make many different variations of each and test them against each other. If you got no idea how to test them against each other, search for a/b split testing or just split testing.

    I also like the video. I like the look altogether! However I was trying to find where to click on the video or next to it so see where I would be sent. Obviously I just need to scroll down further on the website. Maybe an arrow or something might help?

    Thanks for that, maybe I can incorporate an arrow in the video just to say where the Register button is. 2-0 so far, maybe I should have put up a poll.

    the video is good. maybe you ought to share it more in social media sites so that you can increase views. dont do slideshow, its lame. thats just my suggestion

    Only 2 options (slideshow or video)? I am throwing in a third option to make it more complicated ;-P.

    Recently I've chanced upon a platform providing dynamic presentations called Prezi.com (I have no association with this company), just like to share that there is actually more ways to present yourself other than slideshow or video! ;-)
