I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a youtube account where you can upload hour long plus videos.

    No way around it, but it will not take long to get there... Try uploading several video clips in short durations, post some comments and fill out your profile in full and you will get there in a Jiffy...

    Frank is completely wrong by saying there is "no way around it"

    In case you haven't noticed, there are videos that are 2-3 hours long on there.

    To the OP, you have to sign up for the partners program.

    That will remove the time limit restrictions.

          You need to have an established youtube account. Start posting 3 videos a week for 6 months and they'll send you an email saying they've lifted the restriction for you.
