Please rank my landing page for Subscribeify

Hey Warriors,

Me and 2 buddies have a startup called Subscribeify. In a nutshell, it's a subscription management tool to help you keep track of all your subscriptions and free trials. We're currently testing the website and the beta will be available soon.

Here's the link: Subscribeify | Index

Please take a look at the landing page and let me know what you think.
  • How's the information presented?
  • Does this website sound like something you would use if you had a problem of managing your subscriptions and free trials?
  • Is the opt-in box in an optimal location?
  • NOTE: Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone!
Irwin

    Hey Irwin,

On my screen the 'Sign Up For The Beta!" button is literally cut in half by the fold.

Which means you might be losing on some subs just for the fact that there are many people who won't scroll down just to see what it says.

(you'd be surprised at how many people don't scroll down at all)

I would recommend putting the opt in box on the right side up a little highers so that it is as clear as day.

Besides that, I dig the clean lay out

  • Irwin,

You have a very good start here. Honestly, most of the time when someone on here wants a landing page review, there are too many things wrong with it to count.

You have a lot of the basics down. For example you have your action (the form fields) above the fold. That’s good. You also have a clutter free page, there is pretty much the call to action and then the thing you want people to do. Its obvious what I’m supposed to do when I reach the page.

My suggestion would be to tweak the text on the page a little and also the main header that has your company name in it. For the company name, I would either make it look more like a logo and have it be smaller and on the left hand side of the page or delineate it from the rest of the content below. Maybe with a horizontal rule or something.

The test next to the monitor, I would make that a different color such as black and left align it. It is hard to read in the centered format.

I would also comment on your actual content but since I don’t know how you are driving people to this page I can’t. Just make sure that whatever the value proposition is in the ad or link or whatever sends people to this page is also mirrored on the page itself. People need to know they landed in the right place.

    Great work,

    Shawn

  • Jamescanz makes a good point. Try to optimize as best you can for all resolutions of screen size to ensure that most of the people visiting can see the action.

Your company name "Subscribify" is taking a ton of real estate on the top of the page. In reality, no one cares about the name. They care about the benefit.

I'd make that subscribeify text much smaller (maybe put it on the top left or top right). Then I'd make that main benefit "never lose track of...." much bigger, centered and sticking out more.

Users are lazy, bored and always asking themselves what's in it for them. Always keep that in mind.

From a design standpoint, Id like to see that white background have some texture of some sort, to help give that text some 2.0 depth. I'd also like to see a copyright stamp, disclaimer, about us... You know, the things that make us feel all fuzzy and safe inside.

Other than that, the site concept is a GREAT idea.

    Nice clean design!

The only thing I noticed, and it might just be me, but the SubscribIFY thing, my eyes were attracted to what I started off thinking was iffy... Not sure how you could change that though, to make it less iffy...

Would I use it - yes if it was free. As a person trialing something you want a free look. I wouldn't have a massive number of trials, as there's only a finite amount of things that would interest me and I'd want to trial.

It could be good if you could get vendors to integrate with you though, so that the trials run from the app directly... Just an idea.

    I like the clean design.

Have you tried it without SUBSCRIBEIFY at the top, enlarging the monitor graphic and moving it to the left side with the text on the right side and having everything above the fold?

It would be interesting to see what that would look like.
