Best font for headline graphics and graphics?

Hi

I want to create a headline but not sure what is the best font? I see folks on here on WSO have amazing headlines that are images

1. What is the best font for doing it?

2. Is there even a program out there that creates headline graphics?

    It depends on your target and the mood you want to set. I see a lot of Arial and Impact for IMers. Not very creative but whatever works, man.

    Best to outsource the whole thing to someone at Fiverr. Why waste time on such unimportant things.

    I will simply look at those websites that catches my attention and model after them. If there are so many people using the same fonts, it must be working for them or else no one will be using it. I like to keep a template of websites that catches my attention so that I can model it if I need to create one in the future.

    The main thing you want in a headline font is big and bold. I personally use Arial Black a lot. Also with a really bold font you can do a ton of graphics tricks with it. Hard to do that stuff on a thin font.
