A begginer with some questions... some help PLZ

Hi All,
I'm new to the internet marketing biz and my current plan is to make a product and build a list.
my product is almost finished and is supposed to be pretty good (I'll probably elaborate in the future) and in the meanwhile I'm trying to populate my list.

here I've encountered some question marks:
1. what is the fastest way to build a list? (I don't mind paying for a course if it's really good)
2. What is your take on using a pen name instead of my real one?
3. do people really send letters to the address most auto responders force you to put in every mail you send?

Thanks for your time,
MunkMurray

Create a squeeze page and send traffic to it from PPC, such as Google Adwords.

Down to personal preference, doesn't make much difference. I use a different pen name for the different niches that I market in.

After sending out thousands of email messages, I've never received a letter. I believe the reason that they force you to put an address is to comply with can-spam regulations, not for customers to contact you.

If you're looking for a cheaper way you could do try article marketing where you send traffic to a squeeze page, blogging and give away a free report. When you have built up a decent sized list you could then do Ad swaps with a JV.

No matter what you do, the first step is finding good keywords. A lot of people seem to neglect that aspect of marketing. If you just throw up some PPC ads, you are not marketing, you're blindly advertising.

Use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, KwMap.net - A Keyword Map For the Whole Internet to find cheap keywords. KwMap will show you phrases related to the phrase you initially insert and the Google keyword tool will allow you to see the bid prices while also showing you some related keywords.

Also look for keywords with fewer than 500,000 results when searched on Google and more than 3,000 searches per month (if you go the article marketing or video marketing or SEO route). Personally, I really like video marketing. It's incredibly simple yet very powerful. People like to watch more than they like to read.

PM me if you need a little more assistance. Hope this helps.

    Best of luck!

When building your list, you should always try to think about how you can get others to spread the word for you.

If you have a great ebook or free report your giving away, you could allow those that download it to give it away to their list as well. Just include links in it that say "To get more info on this, I offer another ecourse here" and include a link to your opt-in page.

Your list will grow much faster if you can leverage the work (or lists) of other people.
