Thoughts on this Sales Page

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and certainly not an affiliate marketer. I joined because of two key reasons:

1. We are about to launch an affiliate program and came to learn more from all of you as to the best practices and ideas behind doing so.

2. Hopefully provide a lot of value to this community from an Entrepreneurship and Motivation standpoint.

Please take a second and let me know your thoughts on if you feel like our sales page is on point and will convert well. We launched it 2 days ago and converted at over 7% in just two days. Thats very strong by our standards but I am curious what experts on here have to say.

Secret Entourage Third Circle Theory

Thanks again for taking the time to look at it

    1) loads forever

    2) needs better graphics ala da vinci code (would go better with overall theme)

    3) you said you made 1M-that might not be enough to push people off the fence. You need a better set up. Remember, you are selling credibility.

    1. Looks pretty heavy to me.
    2. The main CTA is not on a prominent position.
    3. Too much of graphics.

I was simply overwhelmed... no clear call to action and in the brief time I was on the page the only thing that stood out to me was that it took 10 years to write an ebook.

Not throwing stones, but I need to clearly see what problem you are trying to solve, a clear description of your solution, and a clear call to action.

    It is pretty though..

How would the CTA differ from what it is? or where would you add it?

I stopped looking after I looked at the myriad of fonts that your sales page have. There is different size fonts, some are so small I wouldn't even bother reading them, some are massive, some normal, some are a different style. I just gave up, continuity is your friend.

Wow, that's a really slow page. Looks nice when it loads, but if I wasn't looking at it to help you, I would have hit the back button a long time ago...

There is far too much fancy graphics at the top - you used up most of your most valuable screen real-estate on those graphics, and they don't really explain what the site is about. It would be more effective to have something about your book up there, an inline opt-in, something like that?

Seems very busy to me, and not all that clear what I should be doing.

I also am not sure what the benefit of it all is. I need to watch a video to find out - aint going to happen.

There's too much below the fold. I'd summarise it into bullet points, links to navigate to or open up hidden sections on the page - it's too long, and you don't get to the point or engage at all.

The section of the page - "This book will change your life" - that would be a good place to start the homepage, and have only that section, and link out to more information.

I want to know how your site will benefit me before I start reading. The page appears to be without hype, but you do need to grab attention a bit more than you are doing. You're saying that it will change your life, but not something like, "Do you want to be the next Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, ....." We all like instant gratification, so I'd probably work on that angle too, without hyping or lying...

You opt-in - great that you have one - but instead of saying get the first 15 chapters or whatever it said, sell it - something like "15 ways to become the next successful entrepeneur" something like that. The squeeze page can still explain that they are from the book, or you could present them, then tell the subscriber at the end. If they like it... click here - sale.

I think also that this site might benefit from an inline opt-in, since you need to close the opt-in to find out what your site it about, to decide if you want to opt in, and without clearing all my cookies, I can't see it again, so you lose a subscriber.

    Hope that helps a little?

    Waaaaay tooo busy....

What your wanting to do with a landing page/salespage is engage and direct the persons eyes to where you want them to go. You want to lead them in such a way that they take whatever action you need them to take.

Your page honestly would make people want to leave it.

I am not saying that you need to get rid of everything, but you need a professional designer to design it. Someone who understands how to make a page flow, how to engage a persons attention and direct that attention to take a specific action.

The page is way,way too busy. Especially that first screen. The background changes too many times, looks like your designer couldn't decide what look they wanted. And, are you putting all your eggs in this one basket, or are you testing several different pages? Always test, even when things are going great, you should still be testing.

It looks great from a graphic perspective. However, is there a way to speed up the loading time and getting rid of the popup?

What I saw above the fold immediately confused me. Without having to scroll, I didn't understand what it was about.

    Hey,

I think its been mentioned a lot. There is a large amount of graphics and is too overwhelming.

Feels like everything is large text and in your face. CTA, pay button hidden at the bottom?

Its a nice site but reminds me of one of those advertisement sites that pops up from now where!

Also have you ever considered on the exit page, that the user is given a discount on the book? Or at least if they still decide to leave you offer then a free report or information package on some of the books content etc- and by doing so your capture their email and list build ?

    Just a thought?

    It's far too busy.

The purpose of a squeeze page is to do one thing. Squeeze the information out of the visitor. There is a reason newspapers use black text on white backgrounds and keep their design minimalistic and simple -- because it works.
