When will start financial crisis ?

I'm owner of Quality Unit, company, which develop Post Affiliate Pro and I would like to share our experiences with current financial crises.

We thought last year (in November 2008), that maybe we will not survive year 2009, when we heard news about bankrupts of so many companies.

But it seems we were wrong.

During first 3 months of 2009 we have different problem ... our sales are growing so fast, that we have problems to find enough employees to cover all requests of our customers.

Most interesting month was March 2009, when we sold 3 times more products as e.g. in November 2008 or December 2008.

I have feeling, that Internet business is out from this crisis and it is even rising.

We have some theories why this is happening now:
1. People lost their daily jobs and started to search for opportunities how to earn money on Internet
2. there is no crises - it is just buzz word of newspapers and television - real business is running as before

Has anyone similar experiences ?

I guess it depends on the type of business you are in. Myself, being in real estate can tell you that it really sucks! But hey, if you are looking for a bargain, now is the time to buy!

Right. The 2.7 million people who lost their jobs all imagined it. Be careful who you bang on, they may be paying customers at some point. Being insensitive is never shrewd business.

I don't doubt that a business like yours can do very well in these times.

However, I'm offended by the astounding depth of either ignorance or arrogance shown in this proclamation:
there is no crises - it is just buzz word of newspapers and television - real business is running as before
I'd have to ask, if a principal of your company is this dismissive of genuine suffering that is being experienced by many real people, would I trust the company to be honest in what it sells?

ok, I think I used too strong sentence,
Yes, and thanks for the clearer language now.

I am glad to see that your investment in growing your business pays off. And I'm sure that this is good inspiration for many other people too. Thanks for sharing the specific techniques you're using to build your business.

There's no crisis? Hyperinflation coupled with toxic assets, bad deficits, and bad credit (not to mention an 11 trillion dollar national debt that WILL HAVE TO BE PAID OFF AT SOME POINT - and, ironically, can never be paid off), out of control government spending, regulation that is stifling the average worker and the entrepreneurial spirit, and an unsustainable fiat currency which isn't backed by anything of solid value? That isn't a crisis? It's a crisis that has slowly been strangling the United States since about...1973? Or 1913? You take your pick.

We're just seeing the beginning of the bubble's burst.

What about when the Baby Boomers begin to turn 65 in 2012 and are going to be owed 50 trillion dollars from entitlement programs that the government cannot, and will not pay out?

What happens when the Chinese ask for the money they've been lending the US for years?

This isn't just an economic problem within the United States. Since the USD is the world's reserve currency (which, I may add, is about to change), the entire globe will be affected. Third world nations will be more chaotic than they already are. Food riots will happen in the streets of second and first world nations, including America, the UK, France, and Germany.

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be continuing with your business and entrepreneurial goals. I think that's exactly what we should all be doing, so that we can rebuild when this is all over.

This crisis is the great beast that is now slouching towards Bethlehem, waiting to be born. When things start looking up, that's exactly when the hammer's going to fall.

And I'm an optimist, believe it or not.

I have had this conversation with a few of my IM friends and it does seem that the only economy that is actually growing is in the IM industry online. However, I would be careful how I invested my earnings. Buy precious metals, not paper saying you own it. Stock markets may be a tad more risky for the time being but if we do come out of this, reinvest quickly ... though again, I would be hesitant there. Me? I just want to buy another piece of land since I lost my 110 acres in the USA (Because my Dad was so inconsiderate as to have a heart attack and we already lived completely off the grid) so if I can get another piece of rural property, some pigs and some chickens, turkey and other animals, hey, I am all good.

Earning money should not be a problem for a while but what you do with it is what will count before this is all said and done. The times they are a changing!

I think what you are seeing is a shift not so much a crisis. Well probably a crisis to a lot of people who are out of work or working in the old system.

Real estate is going online so new companies emerging just to do the legals and transfers.

Flights and holidays being booked online.

Kids share music peer to peer. They keep trying to close them and ten more spring up. They don't buy much music anymore. The new bands are moving in on this and making their money in other ways.

People getting their news via RSS etc.

Heck my wife calls me to dinner on skype. LOL

They are trying to teach our kids stuff for jobs that have not even been thought of yet.

I do all my business on skype so no need for phones and if I do: I use an iphone so either way I go online.

e type Jaguar bought out a new model for the yuppies which failed miserably not because of design or style but they forgot to put an ipod jack in the sound system.

Times are a changing so you better keep up.

I travel all over the USA and Canada doing seminars, and I do see that the economy is recovering. People are buying homes, real estate, starting their own businesses, and there is a new surge in emerging technologies. There have been similar periods in history when those who had the foresight to invest in downturns became very wealthy when the economy recovered. Now is such an historical opportunity to invest at highly undervalued prices.

Quentin is correct that we are seeing a shift in how things are done. We also have a lot of pain to go through since many peopl are still stuck in the old model of doing things. Namely get educated, get a job, and the jobs are getting scarce.

Politicians are hanging on to the past and putting money out there like we are still in the industrial age. The biggest hurdle for us to get over is the bank derivative debt of 1 quadrillion ( thats 1000 trillion). That won't be paid and many companies will crash and burn before the new era takes place.

Take General Electric. They put out debt and derivatives to the tune of $10 trillion. They only have 1% of that and if defaults happen to them, they will be out of business!

So we have to go through this debt clean up era first...then we'll be rocking.

I think the key to business is awesome service. In this day and age, people will leave your business in 2 seconds if you don't serve them correctly and quickly.

I think we're in a crisis but not at the end. In most of these major downturns, they appear "two-legged." That is, something causes the first crash (banks, mortgages, stocks, etc), then there is a short plateau of stability and even improvement until the second leg hits. The plateau is caused by government spending and people getting used to the initial shocking news. The last leg is due to all those unemployed people not getting jobs, further despair, less spending, more layoffs, etc. Pretty scary stuff, if this happens, it will bottom out at the end of 2010 with the Dow under 1,000 and record unemployment and take many, many years to improve with (usually) a lot of social disorder and unrest (wars, strkes, etc).
What you may be seeing in your business increase is a shift in spending during the plateau as people scramble to make an income by purchasing your service. I think all IM and WAH type of solutions should do well right now until most spending dries up in the second leg. I don't understand why you're having trouble finding people though, they should be abundant now if you're looking in the right places.

Richinca, yes I don't know if we will grow next months too.
    Nobody can predict it.

At least I would like to see it positive. Maybe "second leg" will not be broken at all :-)

I agree, governments are spending currently a lot and this can't be done too long time. At least in European Union countries are limited by conditions of EU and can't spend more than limits defined by EU over budget.

People are still losing jobs everyday. And more and more people are turning to IM to augment their income. The crisis will not go away just like that. I don't know how long the economy will recover from the downturn. If you are successful in your business, well and good. But there are others who are having a hard time to make ends meet and it's tough.

Gabe77, yes, crisis will not end within few days, but I'm sure now is time, when we can't wait until state will solve it for us ... we need to fight alone.

Only thing I'm afraid is, that with long crisis will rise also crime

Although I agree in part, because my own online business hasn't really been affected by recession, I have to admit there is a recession going on. I just shot the first installment for Success Manifesto 2011, telling why it hit home to me and why I think we have to do something about it.

It may not affect you, but it's quite likely to affect someone around you. Definitely, we can't bury our head in the sand and expect it to go away soon.
