How can I promote Newly Launched site??

Hi All

Looking for best way to create noise around a new site that allows users to simultaneously search across up to 10 sites on a single browser. I think its a really good service but its getting others to believe also.

The site does not actively sell a 'product'. It is more of a service that allows users to create their own lists of favoured sites and share with friends. It kind of bypasses the need for you to have multiple tabs open as so many of us do. It is also a free service so should encourage return users.

There are really good extra features such as ability to take notes with click/drag - help with research. Potentially infinite categories/lists that could be created within the site. Shopping/Travel/News/Sport etc We also have it converted to Spanish as we are couple of guys from Spain and Ireland.

Problem is how to get people using....Currently using google alerts to locate 'top 10 lists' of things from bloggers and then create and share list with the blogger. Site is called Simulty - as in Simultaneous.

Any advice appreciated.

    You can utilize long tail keyword research to rank the keywords or use the facebook and google+ to socialize it to get the visitors. Email adswap is also a best way to get noticed.

    Social Media Buzz is the best way to create a viral effect... I would suggest creating accounts on the top social media and sending out invites to your fans and followers.. Thats a Start..

    You definitely need to make a video and upload it to youtube and other video sites.

    The description you gave of your site sounds interesting, but it's not clear how it works in practice. A well made video would really be helpful in getting the word out about your site.

    Also consider sending out a press release and trying to get some coverage on some popular tech or IT blogs.
