"Systems" Do you use them?

I realize that there are a lot of independent IM'ers here. What I'd like to know is does anybody use a system? Like Empower, MLSP, etc? If so what are your experiences? Good, bad, good way to learn some basics, complete waste of time and money? I've used a few in the past with varying degrees of success and wanted to know what WF had to say.

What do you mean specifically by "system?" What is it that you're trying to do?

I'm not trying to do anything. I'm just looking for some feedback on what people here have had success with or not. Did you find some "all in one" marketing systems to be better than others and if so why?

Commercial systems I can't really comment on. I just sort of stick to the fundamentals of list building. Squeeze-page->auto responder->content,offer,content,offer - kind of thing.

That and a smattering of CPA - which I've essentially learned on WF.

That's probably not terribly helpful, but I guess what I am saying is WF is the "system" that I learned from.

    1) Find something that works (makes you $)
    2) Turn it into a system
    3) Follow system
    4) $$$$$$$$$$$

    and then of course
    5) When it stops working package it up as a WSO

    JUST KIDDING!

I like DotComSecrets X. Empower Network is also a good. These are working systems for building a passive income. Anyone you hear talking about saturation and pyramid schemes is not likely to be the sort of person that gets results from any system.

Have I used systems like that in the past?

    Sure.

Would I use them again in the future?

    Unlikely.

It's not the systems itself I don't like.

Many are solid and work as advertised.

They help a lot of people overcome hurdles in
their marketing. For me, it was *confidence*.

Most don't bother putting together a system of
    their own because they either:

    A. Lack experience and want a head starte.

    B. Lack the skills to do a certain thing.

    Or C. Lack of confidence.

A and B are easily solved...IF you have the
confidence to learn what you need to know
to set up your own system.

It's in my opinion it comes strictly down to ones
confidence moving forward in an unknown
    arena.

Nothing wrong with that. A good system can
eventually GIVE you the confidence to venture
on your own IF you succeed with said system.

But it comes at a price.

One, you don't control the system. It moves
with or without you rather you like it or not.

If it closes shop, your do, too.

Two, your marketing and branding their stuff.
    Not yours.

This makes it extremely difficult to be unique
and stand out from the crowd.

The system creater is the sheep hearder...the
one using the system -- like it or not -- is the
    sheep.

I don't mean that in a negative way.

A good, honest hearder can lead a sheep to
eventually take control of their own destiny.

In either case, I make a lot more money when
I market myself, my products, services and my
unique offer with the occasional affiliate sales
    here and there.

Your unique edge isn't some groundbreaking
    technology or system that converts.

    It's you.
