Email campaign tips??

Hi,

I bought some website with email list. Now I want contact them for offer my product, because I no more support the old product/website I bought.

I want to do this in the right way and I don't want bore the leads. The leads have no idea who am I.

Now I work on email funnel and text. Somebody have some tips. Someone pass through this situation, already?

  • Lists are all about relationships. So introduce yourself as the new owner
    of the website, and give away something nice for free, as a welcome gift.

    Then, going forward, do more than just try to sell things to them. As a rule,
    you should be doing one informational/give away email for every
    promotional email.

    Just remember to treat them well and make them feel
    like you have their best interests at heart, and they will be willing to look
    at what you have to sell to them.

  • I agree with the above Warrior that it is all about the relationship that you have with the list. One thing that I like to do is to create a free email address that is purely used to subscribe to other marketers' list.

    This will enable me to collect their emails over a period of time and I will be able to study the way and sequence that they have sent the email. If these marketers are making the majority of their income from their list, they must have something right with their email marketing campaign.

  • Romance your list.. Make believe you really like a girl that you've never met, how are you going to make her be attracted to you?

    Make your list attracted to you.. Don't hit them with offers at first.. Give them lots of value.. Help them like and trust you..

  • Definitely develop a relationship.

    I wouldn't go in, and introduce yourself as the new owner until you're ready (which you appear to be preparing for by asking) I'd put together some good information, free content of some sort to make an impact. Make sure whatever it is, is good content.

    I think in essence this is like starting a list from scratch, you just need to move the subscribers that are in the current list for the retired product, into a new list for whatever it is that you're helping them with / promoting.
