Squidoo Lens question...

Warriors, I'm about to start a new squidoo lens for a niche. I was wondering, can I setup ONE account and have multiple lenses for DIFFERENT niches? I would want a different author, image, etc. for each lense.

Can I do this with one account, or should I setup a unique account for each?

    You can do it, but I recommend creating a new account for each niche and make them congruent with the whole theme of the Squidoo accounts...

    One accounts for weight loss,
    One for Acne,
    One for internet Marketing...

    etc

    That is how I personally set it up, because it looks funny to be an expert at 'disneyland' and 'how to make money online' and ' how to get rid of acne'

    When you sign up and it asks for your first and last name...do people that see your Lens see your name? Or just your username?

    Better to create a new account for each niche that you target.

    If someone clicks on your bio they'll see ALL of the lenses that you've created, so it would be wise to create a new account.

    Just speaking from experience.

    You can do this with one account - that's what I am doing. I had multiple accounts set up, but ditched it despite popular thought. It was too much for me to keep track of and I notice absolutely NO difference in results. I am a writer and accustomed to writing in different topics. If I can't convince people I am qualified to write on a certain subject using my words, then I'm not a good writer!

      Most people prefer to maintain accounts for each niche so that they can be seen as a 'guru' in a particular niche subject.

      I do it to keep track of all my personal squidoos, as I have interests and expertise in so many niches.

      So if you intend to create say 20+ squidoos in a number of different niches, I suggest that you create separate accounts.

      And yes, your account 'first and last name' shows as well as your Username or Nickname, when people go to your Profile page, so be aware of that. Unlike your username, you can change your account 'name' in the profile page later if you want to.

      Your profile page also shows a long list of all the squidoos you have created in that account.

    I personally prefer to have one account for all the niches. Because the older the account gets the better the reputation for the account. Having multiple accounts will not allow you to build your reputation on squidoo network.

    This is good informaton since I just created my first lens this morning. I was dreading setting it up but it was actually kinda fun. Helps to know a little html. Fortunately I'm sorta of a jack of all trades when it comes to technical things. Still a noob at the marketing stuff though.

      Maybe that can help you out a bit..

      You know, center some pictures, highlight some words.. make things a little cleaner.

    You will definately look more like an expert in your niche if you have only that niche for your username. Having too many niches under one name will make you look like an Internet Marketer trying to make a dollar rather than an expert in a particular niche.
