Hey guys

If you had a few websites that were getting 500-1000 visitors per day in the work from home, make money niche. All SEO traffic from good keywords, what would you do?

How would you

1. Start making fast cash
2. coupled with - Create a longer term approach (and yes obviously catching emails, but what more)
3. What would you expect to me making?

Cheers

I would give the visitors some free advice and then point them to a related affiliate offer that will help them get there faster. The best ones would be offers with a monthly payment. I got quite a few sign ups when senukexcr launched and still get a good monthly payment.

      hey

thanks. thats basically what i am doing at the moment. but the traffic is consistent, but the sales are not. Some days i get 5 sales. other days i get 1 or 0. but i always get 500-800 visitors. I get about 30-50 subscribers a day. SO i dont know, maybe my copy sucks, or something

Build a list and start selling solo ads. Of course, the ads must go out with high quality content.

If I was to sell solo ads. As the newsletter I am sending is pretty cool, i spend a lot of time writing them and reading other sources so it's interesting. It has about 40% open rates.

How big would my list have to be to send solo ads?
And how much could I charge?

It depends on how organic your list is. Many people with purely organic lists sell mail blasts for $25 snd below. Just don't make any promises you cannot keep.

Build a list, create and market your own brand. You have a private gold mine. Sure ad space will give you some cash and a product will be a cute little bit of side cash, but you are in a position to make long term income. If you have 800 avg visitors a day and your optin form converts at a mere 4 % that is a list of 24,000 subs in a month. Get that rate up and well you should get the power of what you have by now.

Work on email marketing and you should be making thousands a month and nothing less. This is how you keep all the work you have done so that when silly ol' Google plays it's next game you will still have all that traffic at the push of a button.

What do you mean by brand?

I know what a brand is, but really, i don't consider myself a work from home success as such, although i do actually work from home. but i dont earn big money. I know how to rank and drive traffic. not sure what type of brand and mission that brand could have in association with what i could offer?

I can't do that part, but build the list and then ask them what brand you should create. They will always tell you.

Yeh thats about right, i have about 1000 subs coming in.

Well, im starting to build a better idea of what to do here. A very obvious main stream idea about list building, so I'll keep on that. I think creating a product might be the go. I was thinking of something high end with webinars?

I have a unique piece of software I built. I'm thinking I could improve it and turn it into something others can use. Help them tap into traffic. I guess I have the main ingredient here in this business, quality traffic.

The rest should be easy i guess. I'll start with affiliate sales, test a few. Keep up with my newsletter, for sure. But also take on a brand like approach, which I will call a relationship, not a brand. Then go in for some $500+ sales.

I think i want to be getting 100 subs a day. That would be awesome money.

Since they're already interested in making money from home, they all need one thing - TRAFFIC. Offer 10 advertising spots at $50 - $100 a week. 10 spots @ $50 = $500 a week or $1,000 a week @ $100 a spot and make it recurring unless they cancel

Cause most of the times, people aren't generally there to find work at home opportunities, most of them already have one, they're trying to figure out how to drive traffic to make more money. If you put together a nice advertising landing page, do the research and show them traffic numbers and spots where their ad will appear, people will buy.

I do not necessarily agree with this. You try to rank for KYs like 'business from home' or 'part time home businesses' etc.. then you will get traffic that do not know anything about getting traffic or care about it. They might be more interested in stuffing envelopes or taking surveys

You could offer people products/programs that produce instant cash in paypal. People want anything that pays instantly. I'm not into the programs that make you take trials but they are really good for that as well. JV Zoo is great, for example of a place to find instant cash products to promote (Join as an affiliate) there is also payspree etc. CPA PRODUCTS too. But the places that pay you to advertise for them on their blogs mentioned above are nice but not like instant pay to be honest. Instant pay is better.

Some great suggestions already been offered here....create your own product (can even start small with free report....change up some decent PLR if you have to), start getting yourself really known to them & if you have an email list already going, ask them what they would like to know/learn about, try to get their feedback, get them involved.

Well done by the way, that's a great effort!

              This ^^^^ exactly.

"Work at home", in contrast to things like "make money online", "run your own business", "become self-employed", and so on, isn't just a different keyword or a different niche: it's a whole different market, with very different traffic demographics.

There's a whole generation of failed MLM-ers out there who didn't appreciate this point, and tried to build a business by presenting a "run your own business" offer to "work at home" demographics. Guess what? It didn't work out for them. They sponsored many distributors, but couldn't retain any of them because they'd identified the wrong demographics to start with, but if you ask them, they'll tell you that it's because "MLM doesn't work anyway" or "it was the wrong company" or "people are too unreliable" or just about any other reason that avoids acknowledging what they did wrong. :p

All these replies are fantastic guys.

Seems like i am dipping into the success and failures of many. But when it comes to SEO traffic from specific keywords, the phycology behind why people use those keywords will make or break this.

Whether I sell ad space, or opt to create a product, or just build a list and be an aff. Really all are plausible, but I am looking for best income earners.

How about I pose this additional question:

When someone types in "work from home", what really will they commit to?

                vs

When someone types in "make money online", what would they really give their attention to?

You just answered your own Questions there... If they type that in that is exactly what there looking for...

My opinion i think your being to vague with your Niche and Just trying to pound out the Make Money Online or Work From Home Keywords...

If i was you i would start drilling down into those Niches you are wanting to target into the sub niches of Make Money Online and Work from Home and find something you are an expert in or will becoming an expert in and start focusing on those instead of the Overtargeted Make Money Online Keyword..

Do your research on your keywords and target a sub niche that you can dominate and you should be fine..

    I love this mind game

Focus on conversions and upsell, upsell, upsell.
500 visitors to my capture pages a day would be all I need to create a $10k/month income.
On the low end that would be 100 leads and maybe 10 sales @$25 = $250 per day.
That income alone will generate $7.5k/m and with good upsell strategies and helping my customers effectively more than 50% of those will take the upsells.

Now unfortunately I'm not that good at SEO so I'd rather go the paid advertising route. But even then there is huge potential with just 500 visitors a day...and if you think about it that's very doable!

    1. Find a product to sell as an affiliate.

    2. Make and sell my own product.

    3. If I don't make at least $2000/month off of 1000 visitors/day (search engine visitors, at that), I am doing something wrong.

If you are thinking of turning to fast cash, you will probably need to flip it. Depending on the buyers, the price you will be fetching might varies as there is no monetizing system installed yet.

I will suggest you work toward getting some of monetizing methods.. Adsense will be ideal for authority sites.

Capturing leads is a must for any successful websites. A newsletter will usually do the trick.

Put CPA offers on your site like survey sites for people to join. You make $2 to $5 per each signup. Believe this can add up quick !

From my experience with CPA and Adsense run on the same site, for 1,000 visitors you should be pulling in about $2,000 per month . Give or take a few hundred buck !.

But in the past I have been stunted by my own negligence to ask more Qs, by my own isolation of working at SEO like a freak, but not going to next step.

Work from home or make money online is a niche that has high potential to earn. 1000 visitors per day makes around 30000 visitors and 60000 page views per month (approx). That's enough traffic to apply for Buysellads and earn at least $1000 per month. Not to mention you can use clickbank and other affiliate programs too

Id start building a list right away, don't put that off... Yes Fast Cash is great but building the biggest asset your business will have meaning your list is much more important than quick cash... My business didnt do diddly squat until i started building my list..

Yes im still building my list and do on a daily basis and you should to... You talk about Making fast cash?? Email marketing is(i hate this term) as close to push button profits as you come...

So id definitely not put off listbuilding... You said obviously catching emails, but what more... What you want to do is have a nice 5-7 follow up series that can start educating your subscribers on why they should buy the product your about to offer them.. With this follow up if it is nicely constructed will make you autopilot income as long as your driving traffic through your sales funnel..

I also have to agree whole heartedly with GobBluthJD you definitely need to get your own products out there if you want to bank big in this industry..

A good way to monetize that traffic is by creating an ebook that relates to that niche and gives out more valuable information. It might take 1 or 2 months to create but it would be a great monetizing strategy especially if you have a nice amount of loyal readers.

You can send solo ads with a list size of 1000 subscribers as well considering you are getting 40% open rate you can easily sell minimum 50 click solo ad. If you have bigger list let's say 10,000 subs you can sell solo ad of 100 to 500 clicks which would easily generate you 4 figure income every month.
You can charge at-least 40 cents per click that's $40 to 100 click solo ad.

When you are making money definitely you can write up your success story and sell it as a product which you can directly sell to your mailing list as they know you from your website they will happily purchase it due to trust in you. Start creating products and build your online business empire that is how you can create your own business brand. Remember no one earns a big money over night or suddenly, it takes time. So it doesn't matter whether you are making big or small at start but you are making money which is not possible for many newbies. You can improve your strategy build more sites and increase your earning because you know how to do that. I hope you got my point.

Few other methods to make money but your traffic could be:
You can sell Banner ad space on your website.
Promote niche targeted affiliate programs by writing reviews or simply posting affiliate programs banner ads on your website.
      Posting Adsense Ads.
      Promoting CPA offers.

At every 2 messages or so, have a link at the bottom of your email which is an affiliate link which leads to a product which is relevant to the content of that particular email.. (i.e. if a message on Day 4 is about "Video Marketing", then you may have a heading at the end which says "Recommended Products", which then leads to a Clickbank affiliate product which is concerned with making videos for SEO...

I would get started that way... As you get more accustomed to this, you can start introducing products you make yourself rather than affiliate products..

i haven't read all answers so please forgive me if i repeat something.
first of all i´d check over which keywords are the most people coming from? i had a problem with one of my sites when i just started. i had about 1,000 visitors daily BUT the problem was that the keywords they were coming over were not really relevant to my niche so that is the first thing to check obviously.
then, see which keywords are "money-makers", e.g. someone coming from a keyword such as "learning xyz" might be more willing to buy what you have to offer than someone looking for tips or info
once you have that few keywords which are really relevant to making money - look for a product and add it to that page. again, it depends on the niche you are in so it might be adsense or a clickbank product. hope that helps

Come on guys I know you are smarter than this.

Once again I repeat the 'Work from home niche' is distinctly different from the 'Internet marketing Niche'.

The former does not rely on traffic .....things like making money from 'online tutoring', 'paid surveys', being a 'internet researcher' for a company etc..etc..

Internet Marketing niche relies on tools in making money with things like blogging, PPC, article marketing, email marketing, product creation etc...etc....and relies on getting traffic.

      Two distinct differences !
