If you had to build a list of 1000 subscribers in 30 days....how would you do it?

PPC is what i use 95% of the time. However I have never concentrated on building a big list in short time. Money is not in the list.....not a poor quality one anyway

If you had to build a list of 1000 subscribers in 30 days....how would you do it?

I need more details before I could give an answer.

For example, for which niche? My approach would be different for an IM product vs. something like Amazon buyers.

What age?

Is this a list of people who spend 7 dollars or 200?

Do I have campaign funds for this?

Online or offline?

Facebook and social media users?

There are a lot of ways to build that list - even faster than 30 days. The key is building the list that will be most responsive - which as mentioned is determined by details within the niche itself.

Ha I knew it would raise a few eyebrows, what I mean is yes money is in a list but only a responsive list. You could have a list of 200,000 people but if its not responsive and full of qualified leads then the money is not in that list.

What tends to happen then is that list is used for solos, swaps etc its a business in its own right, selling the list.

Building a list on swaps and solos in my opinion is not a long term list building strategy and usually results in a poor quality list, these subs are pushed around and are on so many lists there not qualified.

I'm sure there are others who do well from this strategy, but I have tried and will not do it again anytime soon. For me its PPC all the way

There are some great solo ad providers out there, just be sure to find those who actually care and know there list

Optin rates can be 40% if not higher
But to get 1000 subs will cost you a few 100$ at least

I am trying to do it via PPC and If I can get the traffic I could do it

well my product attached to my squeeze page if very newbie orientated for people starting out in IM

I dont think it would appeal to people who have been at it for a while therefore I am testing out different traffic models and PPC/PPV and not solos

In terms of cost per lead currently at .40 I am not certain if it is cheaper than solos but its just the route I have decided to go down for now

Solo ads is the answer but it will cost you something to get it. First thing you do is to create a compelling offer so that you can get high conversion and also have autoresponser email series on your autoresponder with good OTO. Another way is to create a good product and offer it free on the wso but will cost you $40 and membership here in wf. You can do article marketing and post it to article sites with high pr and traffic. You can also try guest posting to authority sites and submit press releases. You can also try offering 100% commission and get affiliates to promote it.

I am not a fan of solos or swaps, I feel that although it is a fast way of building a list which again is never my intention the quality of such leads is often questionable. Ultimate long term list building goal for me is always qualified leads.

Personally, I would lay the foundation for SEO. But if you actually need to have the list at 1k by the end of the month, social media and PPC are your best bets IMO.

If you have the money, solo ads are your best bet. In my experience, I've paid about $1 per subscriber through that medium (my squeeze page converts pretty well though). So if you have a $1,000+ to spend, you can build up a 1,000 subscriber list within days.

Through paid advertising like PPC. You can set up a campaign and drive very targeted traffic in matter of hours and the traffic is easy to track so you easily can optimize the campaign to drive even more targeted traffic.

Any PPC medium you recommend? I build my list via some other methods mentioned on this thread but was under the impression PPC ad networks were a bit tighter on approving squeeze pages now.

I think PPC or Solo ads or anything that you pay but there's risk involved too! I am not too familiar with them but I think it's the quickest way to get your 1000 subscribers!

I would go for free traffic though! I'd write as much as possible-- and no spinning machines involved-- and see what happens! I'd make sure I am targeting the right crowd but this wouldn't guarantee 1000 subscribers! Neither would the PPC and the other methods!

Try and look for PPC expert if you do have money to invest

I had a great success building a list that is very targeted not internet marketing related, for a clickbank product that im working on right now, i got 3k subscribers in 5 days and growing each day . I hope to reach 10k subscribers by the time i will launch the product.

Solo ads all the way. Heck, you don't even need 30 days.

I would invest in Ad Trackz Gold, buy solos, use the money made off of affiliate products you might promote, a product that you sell yourself and the made money in follows ups, and invest it right back into buying more solos to get more subs.

The fastest way is to build it via solo ads..if you have enough money you can build it in 3 days buying solo ads..no need to take 30 days..but you must be carefull from who you are buying solo ads, and it would cost you approx. $1 per subscriber..

Perhaps offer something for $1 and get the buyers on the list. Even though it is only $1, this really separates the wheat from the chaff as the ones who get on your list have at least shown a commitment to buying something, even if it's only $1.

Solo Ads, Facebook fan page ads, advertising on Facebook's advertising network.
Go to fiver and find a seller thats selling ads on their youtube channel. Go to worldstarhiphop.com and advertise on their website (it's not cheap)

I started a real live facebook fan page Nov 24 2012. One month later I had over 1,000 real, loyal, heavily interactive fans. Now today I am inches away from 3,000.

I am starting to build a list off of this following now. I don't know why you would have to do it in 30 days, but this is what worked for me.

I guess at the 30 day mark I could have started trying to build a list off the 1,000+ I had then.

I say take your time and do it right! A highly responsive, loyal list of 250 is much better then a thrown together list of 1,000.

  Solo ads, would be a little costly ($650+) but it's quick and effective. However, there is one not too many people talk about. Why build one, when you can buy one from a trusted source, meaning Co-reg. Getresponse and some other autoresponders offer it

Facebook, Blogging using keywords integrated with Youtube and posting blogs via documents. I learned that in a $27 product I purchased a few days ago. It was 3-4 hours worth of pure content. Starting Monday I'm gonna do what they said for the next 30 days and see if it really works

Also, you can try integration marketing, works great if you find a few good partners to do it..it can be great source of consistant traffic to your squeeze page for free..

One more thing..you can set up PPL(pay per lead) program..once you set it up, it's totally hands free list building method

The word FREE is still the most powerful word in marketing. Human nature is to want something for free. With that said, if you have a great free offer, you'll get 1,00 subscribers whether you us PPC, solo ads, or even running a WSO.

Doing a joint venture or having someone or business that you have a solid relationship with promote your offer to their list.

Statistically my signups have dropped today ( based on yesterdays figures) from 20% to 15%
So that is not good
I cant see why they would click on the advert and not sign up for the free book
but anyhow I am moving on to a new source of traffic today so I hope for the best

Create warrior special offers. I rather spend the money I have on creating wsos than paying for solo ads. The way to do this is to create at least 3-4 wsos in a month all selling at low price maybe $5 -$7. If you can do this, you will be building quality list that are proven to have money to spend.

You can have a 1000 person list and not convert
a single one into what matters most:

Sales and profit.

No one opens your emails. No one clicks any links.

Are those 1000 people worth having now?

Building a big list is the EASY part.

...building a real relationship, providing value while
at the same time persuading your people to buy IS
the hard part.

It doesn't take ANY effort to drive a ton of targeted
traffic using PPV, PPC, solo ads, JV giveaways and
generate leads.

...it's building trust and persuading people to BUY
that's the real challenge.

I laugh now when I see courses that promote stuff
like using junk traffic to get a BIG list.

They build this nice size list and come to realize rather
quickly:

"Wait a sec. I have this BIG list...but I'm not making a
dime!"

It takes real skill to convert. A lot of time, effort and
energy to learn and get right.

But when you do...you can build a list as far and as
wide you can using targeted traffic and print money
on demand.

With experience you see the forest from the trees.

The size of the list really doesn't matter. It's the quality
and how YOU set the tone of the relationship you
build with your list from the get-go.

THAT'S where the money is and THAT'S the hard part.

I have actually done this before, and no it was not a fluke..

First of all, i want you to learn a little dirty word call LEVERAGE!, its awesome by the way.

Did a deal with a warrior member in here with with 350k list. Yes! That is a big list and it makes some of mine look like a penguin penis comaprison in size, but I used leverage.

It took about 9 or so emails to get him to look at what I was selling, and he agreed, and he sent some of his list over to my squeeze page.

End result : 2 day mailing = 2023 subscribers added to my list, and $3900 in sales, that I had to slit 70% - 30% with him being the 70%.....

I do not mind giving away 70% commission, even though it was my product in a not so common niche, but 2k or so subscribers on my list were worth more to me. :-)

You haven't specified whether you want these 1000 subs to be quality, responsive subscribers.

I have had a big list, which made me about $0... and one of my most successful lists ever, was fairly small but VERY responsive.

This responsive list came from a signup box on an authority site I built up in that niche, and I drove the traffic to that site mainly with organic search.
