So where is the real money ?

So i know that there is millions of ways to make money online but the question is if you were wanting to start a business, a long term business. Do you think you could make that with your own info products, building a list etc, or would you concentrate on building a service which can be applied to online as well as to offline clients and businesses ? You know not something that makes $1000, $2000 a month but something that has a potential of $20000+ a month.

Just wondering as i am a kind of a newbie, and i don't want to get into like solo ads to MMO Offers or IM Offers as am not sure how it would do for a long term business its more like playing the Lottery.

Please Share What You Think.....

Focus on creating a service/product that really serves and helps people. Focus on creating win-win situations. LASER FOCUS.

Other then that dream big, believe in yourself, never give up.
    Most importantly follow your heart.

I guess patience is also required since it can take years to get to $20000+ a month. Don't let these people with their get rich quick schemes fool you. You must be in alignment with what you want to manifest. You must grow towards your goal.

You'll get there if you really want to. Yes you will.

This advice right here is really all that you need. As long as you focus on providing value and solving problems and finding solutions, you will be rewarded and make money.

If you try to look for the short term quick fix type of cash, you will struggle.

It all comes down to focusing on building up a long term business that will last you for many years to come.

Personally, I would not create a service (been there, done that) because a service is not easily scaleable.

If you do all the work for the service yourself, then you are limited by your time. Not only that but you will probably find yourself working 12 hours a day 7 days a week and having to deal with pita customers (can almost be as bad as dealing with a boss).

Yeah, sure you can outsource but then you cut into your profits and you have to manage the people you outsource too. Its not as easy as some might make it sound.

To me, the way to go is to create a product, or series of products (naturally they have to solve a problem etc…) and build a list of customers that you can sell these products too.

You create the product once and sell to many - with a service you have to keep providing the service to make more money.

Now don't get me wrong, providing a service can be a good way to make money, perhaps more than you could with a job depending on your education and skills and you get to be your own boss and all that, but providing a service is still a job of sorts.

Having said that, the money from providing services saved my ass in the past when times were tight. But, if I wasn't pressed for money and had to decide which way to go it would definitely be a product.

well there are literally thousands of ways to make money online... If you are talking about long term income..

I would go with a product oriented business.. Like a Product which takes a one time effort to build and make money for the amount of time you want it to be in the market... unfortunately there is still an expiry dates on Info product once it is outdated.

  • where is the real money?
It is exactly like offline businesses: you make money by offering a product/service that addresses a real need/problem/desire suffered by many people, and then doing the promotion right.

No secret here, either online or offline.

Glad to hear you going with the product creation model. Just remember you don't need to do all the work yourself. If you have some budget to spare it can pay you very well to outsource part or all the product creation phase. Then you can concentrate on selling.

The best step by step internet marketing book ever written in my opinion is by Christine Clayfield called From Newbie To Millionaire. Google it, it is 500 pages of pure 'take-you-by-the-hand' ever step of the way including how to choose a niche as you are asking. She was voted internet business woman of the year 2012. The only person online to have shown her actual bank account while showing her browser window to prove that what you were seeing is live proof. It takes the same amount to time to build a crappy site as it does a quality site, so why waste time building a crappy site. Not saying you will just emphasizing the right choices.

It seems to me that the people who make the most money online do 2 things.

    1. They create their own product and get other people to sell it for them.

    2. Multiple streams of income. Such as many niche websites, list building, email marketing selling affiliate products.

I know there are so many ways to make money online that this really simplifies it, but not having all of your eggs in one basket so to speak is smart business online today.

Whatever you decide to do, you'll have customers. Do what "real" businesses do and keep those customers on a list you can contact over and over. The cheapest (to acquire) and best customer is the one you already have.

I'll second the product creation model, but don't discount providing a service if you need start-up cash or a boost early on.

A market that is hungry for information.

You have to be sure especially in the health niche where physical products are available and as humans we will prefer something that fixes the health problem one time.

Yeah but i mean if i go into the health niche say "Weight loss", i get my customer to loose the amount of weight he wanted.......Now what, am not going to promote a product on "How to Gain Weight" or "How To Loose even More Weight To Look Like A Stick" you know what i mean, its not long term anymore, however say i go into Make Money Online, i sell them an eBook saying "Make $500 with this method" so they do "Now i have a product saying "Now lets make $5000" and on and on making it long term business, as long as i provide value would you say Make Money Online Niche is the way to go ?

        Thanks.

The real money is everywhere, you just need to find a method and stick with it. All niches have "real money" to be made, you just just have to find away to extract it from paying customers via, product or service.

You do not have to limit yourself to one market............. MMO you may get some good stuff and then reinvest in traffic in other niches, that is what we have always done and has worked well so far, niches outside of MMO are what I would consider a more lucrative area as many in those niches do not have the experience of this MMO niche and you can do better for yourself in a very short space of time

    Writing & Informing.

Both the things you mention have the potential to make that much money, it just depends on what you want to do.

Both business models are solid, and both will make you money if you put in the hard work.

If you already have a skill, like content writing, graphics, copywriting (sales page writing) then that might map to a quicker result if you offered that as a service.

On the other hand, there's nothing stopping you creating a product in one of those areas that you know about.

The products and services don't necessarily have to be related to the internet marketing niche either.

I guess the answers to these questions will depend a lot on what your own goals are.

What I think your looking for is a "real business" online. I don't find an info product website is the way to go if you eventually want to grow your business large enough to live off of with little maintenance needed. I would Say to build an authority website large enough that it starts "snowballing" growing on its own. Then that's when you can come in and monetize with ads and a list. You need to do research on buying markets and always choose a niche that you are knowledgeable in and interested in. I personally stay away from cheap ideas like multiple mini sites or strange info product sites, those kind of sites turn me off right away.

So, I take his advice as something akin to taking the advice of a person in the 80s telling you that cord phones are where it's at, mobile phones represent less than .0001% of all phone sales.

In the short term, it totally makes sense. I appreciate the fact that he closed the video with a "don't abandon the internet" idea, but I think he places too much emphasis on avoiding it considering where it is at.

I would have liked to see a citation of his statistics too, everything I could find pointed to ecommerce representing anywhere from 8 to 12% of GDP when he claimed only 2%

There is a fierce competition in both markets. I’m in the health market but it was not something I chose with the intention to make money out of it; it was something I knew. Therefore I created my products and my websites based on mental health and self-help.

The fact that some people are desperate to solve a health problem doesn't mean that they will just trust anyone.

People will easier trust someone who promises to help them learn how to make money online (because they believe that this is not so complicated) than someone who promises to help them solve their health problems.

They don’t trust just anyone or any kind of product when they have a health problem.

People are more afraid of having health complications because of a mistake, than to lose their money because they believed in a false money-making method.

Losing weight is not a serious problem for most people because they just want to be more attractive, but there are also people who are afraid of methods that can cause health problems instead of helping them become thinner.

From my own experience i can say whatever you start to do - BUILD A LIST in whatever niche you start in.

You should set up a blog for yourself and start blogging. Build yourself online presence while you still starting out. Then you should start making info products and go from there.

The real money is in my pocket!

Okay, actually there is money in every niche.

U just gotta decided whether u want to go into a niche with ur passion or for the money.

There r some who argue that u should follow ur passion, then its not work, and ppl can tell, u will have quality content etc.

And there is also another group that will say go for where the bigger money is, then u have to research ur niche.

For example, go to clickbank, find out which niche and what kind of products have lots of affiliates promoting it tru the gravity. [of cos it doesnt tell everything but its something]

U have to decide, u want a big piece of a small pie or a small piece of a big pie.
      [i know its over said]

But if u are talking about methods, not niche. Its roughly the same.
Many methods to do IM, every method works.
Its just how well u do it.
Its not about the amount of money in the niche.
Its about how well u do it.
