Anyone know anything about coupon sites?

I have seen coupon sites and they kind of interest me. I am not sure how they make money unless it is just from the advertising.

But my biggest question is where do you get the never ending stream of coupons to display on your sites?

Anyone know how you get the content for those sites, and wants to fill me in?

    I have written quite a bit of materials for hostgator coupon sites. Here's a tidbit I learned: you have to write the materials around TUTORIALS. It gives context to the coupon. Outside of that, the content looks spammy, contrived, and well, ineffective. Coupon content = pieces of a larger puzzle. Context is everything.

    That is funny as the coupon sites I looked at, have just a whole page of coupons you can select and print out. This is a bit confusing. Maybe I should just stick to regular blogs, if there is such a thing as regular.

      I was talking about blog posts that promote your main coupon money site. You need a credible network of guest posts to boost your coupon site's traffic. Of course, the coupon site will be made up of, no surprise, coupons

      Obviously a coupon business is also a business.
      You got to expand your business contacts and reach out to companies who need and want ur service.
      Thus giving you the authorized discount, and then u can promote to ur users.

      U got to reach out to companies.

      Were u thinking of setting up a coupon site and getting all the coupons just free like that from other sites? :confused:
