Below Average Clickbank Rating - so now I have to pay more fees

When I logged into my Clickbank account today I saw that my account has been downgraded to yellow (below average). Apparently that means I have to pay extra fees, although I can't find any details on these extra fees. Does anyone know what they are?

Considering I am 100% honest about the products I review, I'm not sure how to lower the refund rate. If a product is overhyped crud then I tell people, but sometimes they still go ahead and buy it and I guess they request a refund when they see that...oh yes, it really is overhyped crud.

It's not my fault that Clickbank acts as a marketplace for some terrible products.

Ah so that was the real reason behind the new rating system, so they can charge more fees???

Well that's a relief! So it doesn't sound like being below average means much.

Love the wording. My guess is either CB was losing sellers and affiliates quickly after those changes and new fees....or being contacted by lawyers about the changes. Would be interesting to know the full story.

I really wish I knew what was going on over there too. When they put the "star" ratings in place a lot of vendors in my niche disappeared from the marketplace and my listing was bumped to the first page with a 5 star rating and a good gravity score which lead to a nice increase in sales for a few weeks.

Now they took down the star ratings, the vendors with low quality ratings came back, and now I'm missing out on those "extra sales".

That's what happens when money talks and bullshit walks, just goes to show what kind of hypocrites are running Clickbank.

What a stupid move by clickbank... I think clickbank sales counter at their home page is going to running very slow or they will fake their earning...

Frankly speaking, I don't promote clickbank products. their products are losing the quality, too overrated these days. I promote Bluesnap (former as Plimus), JV Zoo product.

I can still see the Risk Tier Fees under 'Preview this Control' in my account.

    Am I the only one?

Why are you including affiliate links for products you think are "overhyped crud"? If you are adding your affiliate link to products you think are "overhyped crud"...and preselling the customer that the product is "overhyped crud"...is it really a surprise that your refund rate is high?

Maybe you could lower your refund rate if, instead, you said "This product is overhyped crud. However, here is a similar product that I think works great." and you linked to a product you believe in?
