Is it Safe to Send Mass Links to Youtube?

Wanted to get some advice on link building. I am starting a new website but don't want to send too many links to it at the moment apart from quality links that have been earned.

What I have done though, is create a Keyword Rich Youtube video with a link to my website.

My question is, as Youtube is a trusted site, would it be safe to buy a load of links from say Fiverr or SEO Clerks and send them to that Youtube video?

Being trusted, I assume that the Youtube video would not suffer a penalty.

The benefit to me being that I would then get a proportion of click throughs of people who went to the Youtube link.

In my opinion it will be much more powerful if you buy 1/2 or more pr5+ links on related sites. That's what Google is looking at now - QUALITY You can do a Google search for websites/blogs related to your niche with high pr and contact the owners to ask if it is possible to place your link somewhere on their homepage. This strategy is really powerful now. The higher the pr of the website/blog is, the more powerful the link will be.

Yeh I totally get that - but I am looking for some short-terms gains on a specific project.

Of course, I will be getting high quality links to point at my actual site - but I want to get the Youtube Video ranked in the short term.

The best thing to do is to buy links that are at least PR5 +. This will make your site more important. Please remember that quality is what works best on the net. When Google sees that your site is related to similar sites that have a high PR rating, you site will be rewarded as well..

Everyone recommends it so I presume its safe. Definitely not safe direct to your main site though.

As long as you are not spamming your money site, you are still safe from google penalizing.

I have had great success blasting my YouTube videos with backlink gigs on Fiverr. On one particular video I used 3 gigs, one including 2000 real- views gig over a short period of time. This gave my video the momentum it needed and from there it seemed to get a life of its own and went on to surpass 30000 views in a short time and is still gaining organic views.

Thanks Jerry - can you point me towards the gig you used (perhaps via PM?)

Even if you get your links at fiver try to get the best quality possible, I rather get just a few links on quality sites than thousands of crappy spam links.
And if you still have doubts, upload two very similar videos to different channels, get as many cheap links as you can for one and try to get better quality links to the other and see which one ranks better.

I've started to make some youtube videos, and to be honest, that thought hath crept up on me, but... I never want to deal with backlinking and other bullsh*t google-pleasing methods ever again!

    No thank you.

Says one who spent 2 years of his LIFE on SEO. I've learned my lesson. I will only use up my time, money and resources to provide value.

What ever gains you get from backlinking will only ever be temporary.
