My Method - Good Or Bad?

I have started new blog before 2 months and I want to work on it for long term. You can say long term means life time too. Its related to internet marketing , SEO tips, make money online niche. I want to be successful in this long term plan. So here is what i am doing currently.

(1) I write almost 2 to 3 articles daily of about 400-500 words. Whole content is unique and written by me.
(2) I do proper interlinking with my previous articles.
(3) I give link backs to authority sites if i took something from their site.
(4) I do social bookmarking on my previous days posts (2 or 3 posts) manually. I used to bookmark it on facebook, twitter, pinterest, stumbleupon, delicious, google+, linked in, Google bookmarks, friendfeed and myspace.
So almost 30 social bookmarks everyday (10 on each post).
(5) I don't do any backlinking for any of my posts.

What do you think about my method of blogging. Is it good for long term survival and is it good for building an authority site.
#bad #good #method

Seems pretty solid. So long as you grow a community around your content (and not just come across as another marketing robot) you should be OK.

But don't fall into the same trap every other marketer falls into: "unique" content doesn't mean re-hashing the same old shit, just in your own words - it means having something exciting and new to talk about. That's what's going to get you attention from other people.

I am mixing News articles and Tips articles regularly. News articles will always give fresh content and Tips will help to readers.

Apologies in advance for what may across as a "negative" observation but it seems to be lacking a clear traffic-generation plan and a sales funnel.

Where's your traffic going to come from? How are you going to build relationships with your visitors so that a proportion of them will buy things on the strength of your recommendations?

I think that promoting IM/MMO products is probably the single commonest mistake that beginning marketers make, and the single commonest reason for people not achieving any success. I apologize because I know it's not at all what you want to hear, but I'm afraid that doesn't stop it from being true.

I wish you very good luck with it. Please excuse the observation that in my opinion, combining IM/MMO niches and SEO traffic is really going to be an extremely difficult way to build a business, and is really stcking the deck against yourself. It may be that the little threads linked to above will help/interest you?

So what should i have to promote or which monetization should i have to use for my niche....I think adsense can pay much less for my niche

          Agreed:

Also it is great that you are being proactive however from what I gleaned from your post I do not see a solid and specific method to monetize your efforts.

How do you plan to derive an income from this site? Are you building a list? Have you considered providing a service for the short or longer term? etc

You seem to have the right method - sort of.

The IM/MMO niche may not be your best bet if 100% focusing on your 5 steps above. However, even that niche will work if you employ several other methods - free or paid.

The way you got it now just seems like a lot of hard work for possibly a hard result, imo.

Perhaps you tell us how things work out 6 months later.

Very good plan, just try to concentrate on a good SEO keyword. Will do the whole job for you, if you would just get 5000 visitors a month from google.

This seems like a good plan, altough you should consider to hire someone to help you. Start looking for good writers and test them with small amounts of work.
If you want to grow, you will need to them.

Its great because of this method there will be no quick fixes or spam and be careful with the unique contents and unique links during the promotions... We will use unique and effective strategies to build high quality links and get branding to our websites and blog
My suggestions to add few more SEO strategies here as a bit of promotions
    *Online document sharing
    * Blog Submission
    * Link Wheel promotions
    * Social Answer posting

Doing all of this "stuff" means nothing unless you're monetizing.

Alexa makes some good points above, and I tend to agree.

Let me ask you this ...given the questions you've asked here in this thread "How much do you REALLY know about IM/MMO/SEO?"

I am regularly reading about on page seo and off page seo (building link farms for higher ranking). I am doing marketing from last 4 years. I know YouTube marketing made $200 with clickbank last month LOL:p. I can do web 2.0 marketing like squidoo, tumblr, hubpages and other. I can do Social bookmarking too.

I have many of the blackhat softwares too for building links like SCRAPEBOX, SENUKXCR (latest edition), Article Marketing Robot, Bookmarking demon, Magic submitter and few others. But I dont use them any more for building backlinks. Basically not on this site. I afraid of google updates.

If you want to write about SEO, then you should convince people you know about SEO first. I want to see Panda #24 as one of the Google's last updates, I want to see that you know Zebra that it is just an animal and not a Google update. I want to make sure you know about the fact that Google webmaster tools has not been showing backlinks for some days now and Google said it is a bug, they will fix it. I want you to know about mod_pagespeed. I want you to know about structured data and I want to know how to get more likes, followers, circles. I want to know about 3 tier link building and if it s a penalty or not.
Share your URL, I want to know how much you know. Then I will tell you if you're on a right path.

    Hi there!

Honestly, we can't judge! You're the judge and you only can find out after a while if whatever you're doing is good or not! The most important thing is to take ACTION, which is obviously what you're doing!

As for the long-term, the only thing I suggest you do is be pragmatic and adapt to the changes that occur online. It may or may not affect you, you'll see! Updating your blog regularly is a good thing. Bookmarking too but the most important thing you must keep in mind is that you need to provide engaging and targeted content/information to your audience.

I don't know if you've chosen to target a particular audience, IM MMO is BIG but this shouldn't prevent you from doing it!

Everyone, including newbies can provide creative tips and advice to people and it's not just the so-called "seasoned" IM maestros who are allowed to claim the "IM MMO" crown, so go for it!

See how things go and change your system if needs be!

    Good luck

    Yoan

People are saying it seems like a good plan but it doesn't seem like much of a plan to me. Simply writing unique articles, adding them to your site, then bookmarking them on your social networks isn't going to get you very far.

You need traffic and to get traffic you need to get your content in front of your target audience whether that be by sending your content to relevant blogs in your niche or advertising where your target audience hangs out. Don't wait on Google to send you traffic it might never come and when it does they can easily take it away again the next day.

Since you're asking the question here, it means you didn't have much success with it..so BAD plan?

Also, being afraid to promote because Google might find that upsetting and kill the traffic? Probably won't get you far. What kind of value can you offer in your blog (you said you will write SEO tips) when your own SEO plan is kind of weak...

And besides, that's not how you build an "authority" site. To be considered an authority site in the SEO world, your site needs quality backlinks that funnel page rank back to your own site and you need at least PR5-PR6 to receive any significant traffic in market that's so competitive as Internet Marketing... and loads of interesting articles, link baits and opportunities to get the email. Your bookmark links will probably not even get you to a PR1 or 2.

    My vote is... Very Bad

You should probably rethink your business model.

You have a decent plan. Your biggest challenge will be competing with other sites in your niche. In such a crowded market, you need to find a unique angle to your articles to gain any traction. This is easier said then done. Maybe you could approach some topics by making the focus more local.

One suggestion I have, would be to not put all your eggs in one basket. Create another blog on a topic unrelated to IM. Try to grow this other blog into a succeful and money making business. The skills and experience you gain from this, will serve as great content for your IM blog. Split your time between the two sites.

    You have a good plan.
No they don't. There isn't even much of a plan and it's a bad plan. Creating a blog on SEO when doesn't even have a solid SEO plan (tells me they know little about SEO), writing content for blog then bookmarking it on their social media sites and hoping for the best that Google will rank them and bring in traffic (not wise!) and no clear idea about how to monetize.

    This isn't a workable plan.

Why not promote each post to try and get it more visibility. Set a schedule to post once a day with really good unique content, write lengthy posts which have lots of value.

Then you can spend the rest of your time creating backlinks manually. Make YouTube videos to attract traffic and so on. Work on your social marketing promotion as well. There are loads of ways to get traffic, only focusing on content with search engines is a risk in itself.

    Hi.

Be consistent and you need to keep up with it for the long run.

Your blog will be successful but in the short-term it will not make money for you.

There are ton of blogs in your niche so you have to figure out a way to stand out.

My only piece of advice is for you to start building a system NOT JUST A BLOG. You need to look at the bigger picture and see how you can make money.

I also feel that while your daily commitment is solid, you may run OUT OF STEAM very soon.

You need to build a system NOT a blog. I can spend hours explaining this to you but please focus on the system - lead -> capture -> convert -> cash

Please don't take this post in any wrong way. Just want to set you off on the right path. It took me years to get that right.

That is the type of site you build once you have established your strategy over dozens and dozens of sites/experiments. What does your experience come from? You would need to write your articles (2 - 3 a day...good grief!) from personal experience. That's what will bring your readers in (clear coherent writing is a must to establish a reader base btw).

But overall I see that you lack a clear monetization strategy with the experience necessary to write your articles that provide clear value.

It is a good plan in a sense that you are writing fresh content daily. I don't know the structure of your blog but I think the theme of your blog is too wide.

You are talking about 3 huge markets or macro-niches Im, SEO and MMO. Each on its own is very hard to penetrate and do well in. Sometimes when you split your focus that much, search engines just can't decipher what your blog is about. Is it IM, is it SEO is it MMO?

As I said, I don't know your site but it just seems to me all over the place. Any chance you could let us see your blog?

    Good luck
