Landing Page (feedback)

We are in the process of putting together the first Wedding Internet Marketing Conference here in Atalanta in July. I put together this landing page last night. My business partner Brad Fallon, SEO expert will be speaking along with other big names in the IM world.

Couple of questions for the experts:

WeddingIMC

1) Feedback on the Landing Page

2) Our first goal is to hype up the show and get them excited, then get them to opt-in by offering a free e-Book. So after they Opt-In - They will be redirected to a page to Download their Free eBook and that's where I get confused...

WeddingIMC Confirmation

I was going to add a video of Brad on this page (telling them why they need to be at this event) but my question is.....should I include the Credit Card details on this page or make them click on yet a third page to purchase their seat? Keep in mind that we are only using affiliate marketing to promote this show....

3) We will be using 1shoppingcart.com for our affiliate tracking system. When we assign an affiliate an affiliate link - Will the affiliates send their people to the main landing page or the buy now page?

I welcome and appreciate your feedback and thank you in advance!!

-Jason

You should remove some of the text at the top and move that video and optin up a little bit. Never, ever, place an optin or call-to-action button below the fold. Move it up!

It is above the fold on my screen...just a normal 17 inch monitor at a 1280 by 1040 resolution....

just a quick note, you should use a screen capture program in your video to catch the parts where you are showing the google searches so that is much clearer, and when you were showing the clips of the SEO guy it looked like you just put a camera in front of the television and the audio is kind of muffled but other than that I have no complaints

Yea - I purchased camtasia after I produced the video - and your right about the video - I actually recorded it with my HD camera from a youtube video - since I didn't have the raw footage.

              Hi

The first part of the landing page is excellent and it had me wanting to read all about the event etc.

I found that when I got to the videos that there were just to many and it felt a little like info overload.

Most people in the industry know about Brad and this seemed to be over emphasizing his persona a little to much. By reducing the number of videos it will make the whole page feel cleaner and more accessible.

Wish you all the success with this

Thanks for your wonderful feedback. Most people in the IM, SEO world know who Brad is...however, people in the Wedding World do not. Therefore we wanted to share as much info as possible (and felt that video was more exciting then text). But you may have a point - maybe 4 videos is to much.....

Although this is a conference tailored to the wedding industry - most of the information shared can be applied to just about any niche. We will be paying a pretty healthy affiliate commissions (25%)- if anyone is interested please PM me....

                Thanks

Thanks - I was thinking that - So put the same opt-in box again at the bottom.....Got it!!
