If you didn't make it online within the next 12 months ?

What impact would that have on you?

Well I count on my online stuff so if that went away I would be rather sad.

"Making it" online is ultimately going to be out of reach for the vast majority of people who try. 70% of the failures will occur due to a lack of capacity for success, another 25% will fail because they give up--only about 5% will succeed.

If the internet went away tomorrow I would move to the country and start growing my own food. No skin off my nose

I would probably cry and be homeless since it's my main source of income.

The thought of going back to a 9 to 5 again would break my soul completely.

I would keep working at it for another 12 months, and another 12 after that. It works out if you stick with a system and master it, its only a matter of time.

This is just a hobby for me as I earn quite well offline.
So, if this all went wrong, I wouldn't be that bothered.

I don't think the rate of success is only 5%, atleast not for the people who really want it. If you have a 9 to 5 job then basically you don't have time enough to reach that point ever where you can make a full time income online unless you spend all your free time on it...

I think running an online business is a good hope to have. The economy isn't hurting on the internet.

This is a rather broad question. 'Making it' for some might mean a car payment and for others it might mean beachfront property. For me, my definition would be making more this way then I did last year, preferably by about at least 10%.

    Hi Accountant

It all depends what you call success it does take at least 12 months to one create enough content to make a presents on line.

It takes at least 12 months to build a sizable list to make money and form relationship with your list.

Once 12 months has arrived you should be in a position to succeed that doesn't mean making money in this time you should have enough knowledge to succeed.

    Hope this helps.

What I am going to say applies to everything else in life, as far as I am concerned at least! I'd probably cry for 2 minutes-- not more because it's tiring lol-- and I'd soldier on! Perseverance is one of the best qualities you can cultivate! I love people who don't give up!

And it's even better NOT TO CONSIDER a possible failure...or it may happen!

I don't really give myself a timeline but I give myself tasks to accomplish and I try to over-deliver! Much more important than a set number of months, years etc! IMOAO, of course!

    Good luck!

    Yoan

Are you serious about it? "Only hope" sounds a little bit too ...radical. You always have to have a plan B. I would go for what havplenty said :-))
