      20 years perhaps?
      What's the product?
To sell that amount you alsmost certainly need affiliates to sell your product too so basically you'll need to sell 30000+ products to get the same amount if you need to pay them commission.

Has anyone sold 20,000 units of an online product?

I would love to hear more about it.

I guess the better the quality of traffic
    The better the product
The better - well everything is, then the more chances of selling that number of products

So you want to make 2 million dollars?

Start building a list, don't settle for $97, promote recurring commission programs so you keep getting paid. Build an agressive sales funnel and follow-up sequence, and start running traffic to your squeeze page, and lots of it.

You'll need money to make the kind of money you're talking about.

A product worth £197. 20,000 customers. A way to accept payment. A way to deliver the product.

Well, that and a few odds and ends.

You mean, like, a means of identifying and reaching those customers?
