review website templates?

Hi, I am planning to build review sites for professionals - like doctors dentists, etc...

I would want to build a site that is similar to Single Tracks by Reviewapp.

I was wondering if there are any templates similar to this that I can purchase and create my own review site.

    I don't know of any similar static website templates (e.g. for Dreamweaver),designed for review sites, but I don't see why the same could not be done using the WordPress CMS (Content Management System) and WordPress plugins designed for reviews and syndication.

    As a website/blog Designer/Developer/Marketer, I've found that I can build WordPress sites in about 1/2 the time for about 1/2 the cost of traditional static websites. So there are advantages with going with WordPress - not the least of which is that owners can (to a limited extent) add their own content later.

    That Singletracks site looks very much like a WordPress layout (tho I don't think it uses WordPress), so getting the same layout and "Look & Feel" shouldn't be difficult.

    Were I you, I'd do some research into the plugins at WordPress.org and see what's available for doing reviews and getting them syndicated (distributed).

    I know that there are many plug-ins but sometimes its not complete. I dont just want a simple star review plugins. I am looking for a template or a cms that is complex enough to hold thousands of products/individuals.

    The example given from thread starter is what I am looking for

    Closest thing I've found to complex in terms of reviewing, whether products, places or services is jReviews for joomla. It's a pricey extension at $157 I think.

    It's very flexible and you can have it edited to suit what you need, plus have extra plugins created by a competent designer, otherwise you're looking at much more.

    They have a directory for sites that use the script at: Review Sites - User reviews of restaurants, hotels, travel, games, services and more

    I've literally looked so much that my decision was either to get this script and have it modified by a designer, or have something built from the ground up. I chose the latter, which means it sets me apart but it also hit my wallet big time lol, worth it though. I couldn't find anything better than this, and I've been on the lookout for over 2 years now.

    Let me know if someone knows anything better.

    Thanks for the input Jason, i appreciate your suggestions. However, for what i want specifically, Jreview is not what I am looking for.

    However, if i cant find anything, I guess i will have to hire a programmer to build from scratch.

    Years ago, I used on online directory program to become a "syndicator" in my market niche.
    Just did a Google search and that company is still online, with a new product. Perhaps it will be of interest?
