    Instant payment is good...

    High visitor value is better...

A quality product is most important.

IMO the best way to attract JV's is to first of all make them understand that your product is good and that their list will benefit out of it

Also, before you'll approach a potential JV, make sure that you've got some proven data on your conversion rates, because you can easily screw up your reputation if someone promotes your product and it doesn't convert.

Approach them in a way like "... our conversion rate is 2.4%, EPC is $9.16" you know what I mean JV's want to know the facts.

Also make sure that you approach them like a normal guy, like a friend who wants to help out his other buddy to make more money. Don't use the salesman attitude

    Hope it helps

  • Quality product?

It's a factor, but far from the most valuable ingredient...

    MONEY.

Make your affiliate money. You can do this several ways:

Offer a high commission. 75% isn't high anymore, unless you are dealing with an expensive product.

Offer instant payment, or speedy payment. Clickbank is still the most trusted medium for people I work with as a whole.

Have a big list. If you have a larger list and produce sales, people will be around the block waiting to JV with you.

Have a contest that ACTUALLY pays out.

Have affiliate materials ready to go on a static page. The easier you make it for someone to promote, the more likely it will happen.

Have stats to show (and be ready to back them up if needed) to tell your affiliates. I won't promote anything unless I know that it has converted in the past. This includes 99% of all IM launches. Not worth my time to risk server crashed, lost commissions and the madness when I can just wait two weeks and make a JV out of that launch, with a bigger, fresher list.

Money isn't real, George. It doesn't matter. It only seems like it does.

Contacts and networking are key. Once someone with contacts believes in your product then you'll introduced - if not you have to do your research.

Turn a profit for them first

Grab hold of an affiliate link for one of their products.. and boost them some traffic, can't ignore profits
