How can I earn a measly $1 a day in passive in income?

I DON'T want any grandiose ideas that will cost me a fortune. Lets be practical. All I want is $1 a day passive income ideas. I'm more than willing to invest a great deal of time into it.

I don't have a credit card to set up a website, so that is out of the question. Please help me. I just want to get started immediately with something that works. Oh, and not websites like Hubpages. For some reason, I will not let me pick an income maker. Thank you.

That's very doable. - Most people think of earning a big income at the start and NEVER think of starting small and scaling up. So, yes that is very doable indeed..

Go to warrior for hire and offer to write articles for someone or offer what ever service you can provide. If you have a certain skill, offer to use it and charge accordingly.
Or if you want you can also join the ranks at Odesk or Elance to offer your services.

      Hi Sue,

Thanks for the advice. The actions you described are not passive. The moment I stop doing them, the money stops coming.
I noticed the link to your blog is broken - is the site down or you you have a typo in it?

Ebooks are working pretty well for a lot of people these days. What are you good at?

Fire up Microsoft Word, write a nice and informative piece and publish it on Kindle, B&N and Smashwords. Yes, all those platforms... increasing your chances of making money from a single book.

Even better, step out of your comfort zone and research which topics are selling right now. Either write them yourself or outsource it to a reliable person.

Many people who publish ebooks report an income of at least $2 per book per month, even with short/quickie books. Of course, i'm not suggesting that you release quickie crap (ALWAYS focus on high quality.) But this should give you a general idea on how profitable your passive income journey could be, as long as you apply your efforts well.

Use the main Search function here about anything Kindle, and you should have most of your questions answered. One of the most common questions is how long a book should be. The official answer is almost always "As long as it needs to be." It could be 3,000 words or 500,000. Just put yourself in the shoes of a customer and ask, Am I satisfied with this? before publishing it.

Anyway, let me know if anything (questions, comments, insults, you name it.) Good luck.

      1$ a day, passive, Adsense.

I was glad to see this response by you as you are correct, few ideas presented were "passive".

Here is why I would go with Adsense if I were you.

You can produce aaaaaaany content you want and adsense will find something to slap on your page.

You can take it a step further and do some research into which niches will pay better per click.

      1. Get yourself some cheap hosting.
      2. Setup a wordpress blog.
      3. Start posting steadily.

Put your head down at this point and just post. Don't put adsense on the site yet. Don't even look at your traffic(ofcourse you won't really be able to resist checking). The point is, it takes a while, but you'll get traffic.

Post slow and steady. One or two posts a day. Maybe three if you have time. But don't go crazy. Skip a day every couple weeks even.

Google works hard to make sure you are legit. Don't go crazy with backlinking or posting too often or google will figure you out and A. you won't get your traffic and B. you'll wind up getting your adsense account shut down.

      Be real.

Offer something valuable and write original content.

      Keep it up.

Do keyword research for some posts. For some, just write off the top of your head in your niche.

You'll be shocked by what google sends you traffic for.

After a few months, put your adsense ads on the page.

Don't be in a hurry. You are building a loooooong term passive income stream. Who cares if you lose the first few months moolah. Google will love you for it. I believe this early start with no monetization lets Google know you are not greedy.

Now, down the road, you'll want more than a buck a day.

You can start more blogs to raise that daily income.

Or you can start moving into other more valuable forms of monetization like affiliate links or even your own products depending on your niche.

Have fun and if there is anything I can do to help, drop me a line.

      Good Luck!

By the way. I have one blog that was built like a piece of junk. I used scraped content, images, yahoo answers posts and loaded it up with a tool in about 20 minutes.

I get 1200 uniques per month on that site.

      It produces 8-10 a month.

Realize, I have not touched that site in over 2.5 years and it's still producting 8-10 a month.

I'm telling you, if you build your site like I described above, you will get your $1 a day.

100% commissions is where it's at. Seriously, this has made the difference for me. My own website for people interested in self-publishing has this model, and a couple other things I'm involved with do as well. It just makes sense. Refer 1 person, make your money back. Refer 2, 3, 4, etc, and it's all profit (ongoing profit when it's a monthly membership site.

If you don't want to invest in a website, then write articles for Squidoo or Hubpages.

You could set up a free blogger and write reviews on Amazon products with your own affiliate links.

You could write short kindle stories

    You could get ghostwriting gigs

I am not sure if you want something that is content based but these are a couple of ideas.

Yes, content ideas in particular, in fact. I'm a freelance writer by profession.

I think Tiptopcat's said it all! No complicated stuff! Squidoo and hubpages are great! You could open an amazon affiliate account if you don't have one yet and start creating review pages! Ghostwriting gigs are good too! You can build a couple of squidoo lenses up about your services if content writing is something you can do!

Promote an affiliate product that is a reoccurring one. For example this can be a membership site, or program. If the product cost 25 dollars a month - simply get 2 people to buy - and you got $1 passive income every day.

write a very good article and sell it, it would cost $50-$100 dollars depending on the content. if you sell it for 100bucks, then you'll have to wait another 100days before you write another good one.

If you can't get a domain and hosting and you won't use free sites such as hubpages I'd say your chances are limited to earning a passive income.

The only thing I can think of is maybe try video marketing, if you have windows movie maker and power point you can put up videos on you tube directed at clickbank offers etc. Even this would not be that great as ideally you would want a redirect on your links.

      I agree.

A $1 in passive income? Are you kidding me. You can't even take a shower with that kind of income.

Your goal should be more then that. How about, for your first goal, $10 per day. That would make you $300 per month. Once you reach that goal you can than go higher and work towards $20. Then when you reach that, go onto $50 per day.

Try Blogger & Amazon. First build the blog. Then apply to Amazon's affiliate program and add affiliate links to your posts. Blogger makes it easy to do.

Choose a topic you know something about, anything! Gardening? Billiards? Soccer? Needlepoint? There must be something you are passionate about. Once you decide, start the blog.

Make the posts very specific and broken down. Don't blanket the entire niche. For example, if you were to choose gardening, (something I know nothing about) Post #1 could be "Planting Tomatoes in late winter"

From there, just talk about your experience planting tomatoes in late winter. Keep in the back of your mind physical items that you could promote, like ice pics that you use to break through the frozen ground. Or special gloves you wear for winter planting etc.

Now you would either recommend a product (very briefly, like 3-5 words) or just make an affiliate link on the word. (Lets use "Ice Pic".) That link, "ice pic" when clicked, sends the visitor to Amazon's ice pic section. If they buy, you get money!

Keep in mind though not to make a page full of affiliate links. Write truthful, thought out knowledge that you possess. If you just write like that, you'll see things you can promote without even thinking of them. The more you do it, the better you'll get. Amazon has a zillion physical items you can link to.

Write at least 4 posts a week with each post being 350-700 words. By the time the May flowers arrive you should start to see some sort of passive income from Amazon, if only $1 per day.

    Good Luck!

The hands down easiest way I've found to make passive recurring income is by releasing short ebooks on Amazon Kindle. Back when I released my first one, I had already made a few sales within days.

That may not be a lot, but the great thing is that it keeps making money for you as time goes on. Just a few short Kindle books, and you can make a little extra money each month with no further effort. It's great to just sit and watch sales happen when you're not doing anything.

Having a great cover is one of the very most important things about doing this, so if you decide to do this, get GIMP, and watch some tutorials.

The only truly hands off passive money making idea here has been to write something and sell it over and over again. With blogs and affiliate offers and amazon products you still need some work from time to time, can't just write a review and wait for it to bring in money.

Since you are a writer maybe you already have a blog? If it has some visitors put adsense on it to make $1 per day. That's what I did with my hobby blogs that I started before going into IM and now they are making more than $1 per day. I'm still making a new post every other week to keep things alive though.

You could create a site on Blogger or WordPress. Put a good amount of content then apply to Adsense. You could earn more than $1 a day with that.

You could also sell something on Fiverr that does not require a lot of work. Think of a service that you could finish with just a few button clicks. It's not passive, but at least it's not a lot of work.

    Byethost, 000WebHost, Freehostia, etc. etc.

Anything that anyone else with a credit-card can do by using Hostgator, you can do by using one of those sites. They're your own sites, that you yourself own and control, nothing like HubPages or Squidoo or Blogger or Wordpress.com or any of the ones you should obviously stay away from, where you can never own and control your own site and the terms of service aren't safe.

It looks like you're trying to win 'cool points' yourself, big fella.

Earning $1 a day is a corny goal. There is not a person alive in the developed world who is going to wake up in the morning and stay motivated by a dream of earning 100 pennies.

        I imagine the OP was:

        1) Trying to make the thread more unique and not get directed (perhaps rightly so) to the hundreds of other threads on the topic.

        2) Looking for something simple that works that he can scale up. He's not saying he wants to live off $1 a day, but wants to prove to himself that it's possible.

As for my 0.02 - if you're looking for something with little or no start up cost then using the hosting sites Alexa mentioned and creating your own affiliate/adsense sites is the way to go, in addition to writing ebooks for publishing. If you have time then try a multifaceted approach, but don't spread yourself too thin otherwise nothing will work.

Edit: Adding to this, one of my clients is doing quite well at the moment writing fiction novels and has made much more money with these compared to his non-fiction books. Worth a thought.

I don't need to earn cool points, my bank account has already earned those points for me. I probably make more in a day than you do in a month. I certainly didn't get to that level by trying to start at the top. You don't know this guy's situation. For all you know, he could be working a full time job that covers all of his bills and that $1 a day passive could be his starting goal in IM just to see whether or not he can build a stream of passive income. I can tell you aren't successful at whatever you're doing because you don't understand the importance of starting small.

Your response is clownish. You have no clue how much I earn. I also have no clue how much you earn. Honestly, though, given your meager internet presence I tend to truly doubt you earn six figures daily. LOL. GTFO with this type of reasoning.

If the guy wants to start small he should set his goal at one cent per day. Then all he has to do is replicate that 100 times and he can reach his goal.

I am a believer in starting small. I just said this goal was insignificant and wouldn't keep him motivated.

For you to attack me and call me 'unsuccessful' shows a real childish streak. You look so professional in your Ezine Articles Expert Author Profile too. What a letdown LOL

My meager internet presence? Maybe because I'm no longer in IM? If you must know, I have my own Futures/FX Trading business. In case you haven't heard, most traders don't really have an internet presence. Only reason I come on here is because I have a background in IM and I like to keep up with what's going on. I also want you to quote where I said I earn 6 figures daily. Quote me on that.

Thanks for taking the time to Google me, it shows that you care. However, I couldn't care less about you, especially enough to Google you or click on any links you post to sites you own. You're simply a non-factor.

LOL. Man, why are you so mad? 'First Point LLC' is located in a $264,000 house in Boca Raton Florida. I assume this is your parents house and you live in the basement?

You got called out for talking crap and now you're just digging the whole deeper.

In three distinct posts you have accused me:

              1) Trying to earn 'cool points'
              2) Being a low earner who makes in one month what you make in a day. (That's where the six figure comment came from genius)
              3) Being a non-factor.

Maybe you should go back to bed and then try and wake up again in a better mood. If you keep up much more of this - you'll end up regretting it.

I don't even live in FL, pal. So you've got me confused with another company.
Secondly, you didn't call me out on anything. I simply supported the guy on his goal and encouraged him not to listen to naysayers and you took offense because apparently my words struck a nerve. I didn't even say any names in my statement because there were a lot of naysayers.

You can sit up here and trying to make it seem as if I'm mad or something all you want (accusing someone of being mad = typical internet defense strategy one uses when they're losing a debate), but the truth is: I made a simple statement to the OP and you got offended. So much so to where you're scouring the internet trying to dig up any information you can about me and have failed miserably...all the way down to accusing me of living a home in a state that I don't even reside in. Not once have I tried to get personal or dig up any info, because it's not that serious, but you've wasted your precious time doing so. But I'm supposed to be the one who's mad?

PerformanceMan, your advice is exactly what I am trying to do. I am trying to start earning a passive income, no matter how small (I would see even one cent per day as a success), as long as it is almost purely passive, then to multiply that. And in the process, hopefully I'll get better at it and gradually increase the amount. I have a pretty good wage, which covers my bills, so if the passive income could cover in the future what I spend for my hobbies, that will give me satisfaction.

"If I only work my ass off today I'll have $1 by the end of the day."

PerformanceMan, I think you are missing the whole premise behind the idea about the $1.00 passive income per day.

The OP did not say he was broke, did not say he wants to be rich, he simply asked for ideas on how to make a passive $1.00 per day.

Now think about this, if 500 people reply to this post and there is just one idea posted that can fulfill the OP's question with the whip of a pen, then the idea behind the fishing was to make that passive $1.00 per day and scale it x10, x20, x30... Get it now...

Not to say that's what the OP intended or is doing but when I see a post like this that's exactly what I think, in terms of finding an idea that works easily, is cheap or costs near nothing to do and then scaling it.. That $1.00 per day idea sounds better and better every minute doesn't it..

    $1 / Day = $31 / month ... Or there abouts.

There are many clickbank products that you could easily earn this amount of commissions from. Then you only need to sell one each month.

Simply put together a free squidoo, a free blogger blog, and a free wordpress blod promoting this item.

If done well, the three of these could easily sell 1-3 copies each month, earning you about $30-$90 per month, or $1-$3 per day.

And the best thing is... You could do this all in about 2 days. So if you spent a week, you could have 3 sets of these... And that's about $3-$9 per day.

Some will be MUCH more successful than others, and some will totally flop. But if you spent a full month, you could get 15 of these done, for up to $45+ per day.

But obviously... As you said, you want to start out small and test the waters.

    Good Luck!

Well, you did say you have no money. OK so you do not need to host your own web site, but it is better that way. If you have zero revenue... get a blogger account from Google and also an ad sense account - this is easy.

Create a few reviews. Make them legit as most people do not want to see - check out this amazing new camera. A legit review has a list of the pluses and minuses. People will go to your blogger blog and you will make some money from ad sense. A dollar a day is easy, even $10 a day is very doable for you.

IMPORTANT! Do not make your blog spammy. Other wise Google will delete it and all your work is gone. Try to get your own blog on word press. Do this as soon as you can. FREE Word press blogs do not allow commercial messages, so you have to pay. All the best to you.

A buck a day is $30 roughly a month. A good non-fiction book in Kindle selling at $2.99 gets you $2.09 for each sale with 70% royalty. Sell 15 books a month, one every other day, and there's your buck a day. My crappy books sell 15 a month, and my good ones from 600 to 1000 per month. You can do it.

Yup, I just started doing that and I'm from East Europe, I have been told 1000 times how much I suck in grammar, but I still get sales on Kindle and I don't do anything. It's truly passive. And if you are good with English you will probably do better then us.

I have some old ideas that works for me, I think you should try it. YouTube and Affiliate marketing. It is simple, basically, what you are about to do is promoting an affiliate product using YouTube as a media for your product review. Here is the simple step by step:

    1. find product in any affiliate site, try Clickbank for the first time
    2. Pick a potential product that you can imagine writing review about it.
    3. Make a product review video.
    4. cloak your affiliate link in the video description

tips: choose a hot product, one that sell quick, for example ebook, recipe, tips and trick about game, etc.

Well, as I see there have been many good suggestions here already.

I think that the best way to start with no investment now is:
      1. Pick about 10 good evergreen niches.
      2. Pick products for these niches from Clickbank.
      3. Select the keywords (5-10 / product)
      4. Build free squidoo, tumblr, stumbleupon and FB pages for these products/niches.
      5. Build Youtube channels for all the niches.
      6. Make YT videos with links to your sites.
      7. Make money - $0 costs!

Whatever mind can believe, can achieve. Why not setup big targets, maybe $100 a day ? It pretty much possible if you have a clear plan of action. If you want to become successful with Internet Marketing, follow just one money making method at a time and ask yourself how can I provide more value, the more value you provide the more money you will make.

I recommend starting with Fiverr, possibilities are endless.

You said no website, no hosting, no Hubpages (and alike) either..

    1. My first choice would be Squidoo. I earn a stable passive income from Squidoo promoting some affiliate offers (not Amazon) and it's a great platform. (I earn about $9/day from only 2 articles). But you implied that you would prefer no sites like Squidoo, so..

    2. My second choice would promoting a Clickbank product (or some other affiliate thing) through press releases. Write a "salesy" press release - you should make at least one sale from such a campaign which should bring you $10-$20 in commissions. Write several releases and you get to $1/day.

    Hope this helps,
    Tim

It's only a matter of time before most threads go completely nuts and turn into a war. Happens Almost. Every. Single. Time. Lol what is it about human nature? People hardly act this way in person (at least not in record speed, anyway.) But it's totally okay to do it as long as we're hiding behind a computer screen. This is hilarious.

Anyway, OP, you can also build yourself a niche blog. This will take more time and effort depending on the chosen niche, but it can definitely deliver steady passive income. If you go for it, refer to the many threads about SEO, social marketing and article syndication available.

For a (mostly) passive income, you'd better write very good articles and rather than selling them and post them onto your blog or website. You can host your website absolutely free and I would advise you to purchase a domain name. You can get them sometimes on special for about $2 for one year. You will probably not make much money in the first year, but later, if your articles are good, people will come to read them and the website popularity will increase. And you should use Google AdSense or similar. I was very surprised that I made $25 in less than two months since I created my own website. And I don't even have good content - for this reason the income seems to have a downward trend. Time for me to write something worthwhile.

I don't begin to understand why you're guessing he meant that, but in any case it isn't relevant to your mistaken point that one needs a credit-card to open a PayPal account. That's just plain wrong - sorry, but if you what you post is nonsense, people may sometimes comment on that. Changing your post after that's happened isn't somehow going to "remove the evidence". Sorry about that.

If you don't have a credit card you can't even sign up for Paypal or any payment processing payment method to receive payment. You need to have a debit card or bank account to do business online.

Edit: You don't need credit card but you do need a debit card. You need a bank account regardless if you wanna make money online. Without a debit card you can't sign up a Paypal account to receive payment. Most people use Paypal as their payment processing. Go to your bank and ask to register a checking account and deposit like $20 in there or something to get it up and running. You can always add more funds later.

Of course your expectation is very small. Nowadays it is no longer an issue to earn a small amount by freelancing. As you have time more than any investment, you can do work as a freelancer. There are so many freelancing sites in the world. you can work any site, which is more suitable to you. I think it is better to work as freelancer.

Seriously - Affiliate marketing to affiliate marketers!

I ran a program a few years back as a AdultFriendFinder affiliate, but I didn't get them sign-ups (even though they paid well), instead I got them affiliates! This way, any affiliate who signed up under me would earn me a commission as well as a commission for themselves everytime they got a lead that converted.... I simply recommended the affiliate program through my unique link and sugguested some methods to be used to get traffic... As it goes, I kept recieving cheques through the post every couple of months!!

So... if you want income for doing nothing... get affiliates to sign up under your affiliate link

    Peace,
    Gh0zt

Find a company online that pays you for every person who signs up. For instance, some companies will pay you for every verified lead, such as when a person signs up and confirms their email address. This is often true of website hosting companies. They are paying for the email leads. Even if you only get one sign up per day at a dollar, you have easily achieved your goal. You would need to actively promote to get sign ups though, such as through forum signature lines and Facebook groups. This is not 'residual' income but it is fairly easy to come by.

First of all, I would suggest you aim higher But if you decided on the $1/day already then...

I'd suggest my favorite *easy* method of making money online which is reselling.

You make a sale, you outsource it somewhere else (like Fiverr) and boom you just made profit without really doing too much.

I cover that in my latest free WSO *shameless recommendation*

Besides that you can also do two other very simple tasks and that is:

    - Write articles (one 500 word article every 5 days will give you about $1 a day if you write for a low price)

    - Sell simple services on Fiverr.

Anyway... I'd suggest you bump up your goals a bit! But if you want to start small and slow that's fine.

    Best of luck!

You can start testing software/apps/websites for developers. Obviously this is not a passive income but you can earn a very good and stable amount of $.
They are paying between $10-$50 per test.
    Check out this sites:
    Software Testing Community | uTest | www.utest.com
UserTesting: Remote Usability Testing Software. Results in 1-hour.
Test websites and earn money - whatusersdo.com

That is an excellent idea. Thank you very much for sharing it. I am often unhappy about various software and that would be a chance to express my opinion and get paid for it.

PS - I had a look at the website utest.com and new people who joined were asking why they didn't get any job in months. It seems the demand for work far exceeds the offers.

Create a free blogger blog and write 20 articles on your niche. Now go to yahoo answer and find niche questions and answer it. On the source box put you blogger url where there is link or advertisent of the services or products. More than 50M People visit yahoo answer and within a week you will start earning. Select a good program which pay per lead starts at minimum 5$. I am making money from it.

Not sure if you can back up that $1k a day number with hard proof, but there are many earning with Kindle. It's a good long term strategy, so long as you have content that people want to read, good reviews and a reasonable price. Many people will purchase an impulse priced item just to have something new to read on the train ride home.

Not passive but easy: Sign up for an account on Crowd Source. Answer a question by writing a 100-word article. You'll get paid $2.50 which will be credited to your PayPal account the same day your article gets approved.

Passive: Build a blog, add Adsense ads with high CPM or CPC keywords, put some great content, and drive traffic to that blog.

    One final note: Aim higher.

      Thanks Tvon,

I will look into building a list, I am working to improve the website, both in structure and content. For the last month I reached almost $1 per day, but there is no guarantee the next month will be any profit. Rather than working for others, it's probably wiser to try to build my own assets, since I don't need any extra money to live. I have a decent wage and I am taking this challenge, to see if I can generate an almost passive income, no matter how small.
People tell me to aim higher, but how can I run before I walk? Anyway, I don't intend to stop at $1, if I get there, I will set the new aim at $5/day, and later at 10, 20, 50, 100 and so on.

You say you don't have a credit card, but presumably you have a bank account and can set up a PayPal account. If so, I would do this:

    1. Go onto eBay and buy a cheap reseller hosting account - there are lots to choose from and you can get one for as little as $9.99 for example: reseller hosting | eBay (not an affiliate link).
    2. Put together a couple of hosting packages (different number of FTP accounts, e-mail addresses etc.). Price the most basic one at $1 per month. Make them payable via a PayPal recurring payment.
    3. Take out an ad in your local newspaper offering web hosting for just $1 a month - don't bother advertising online as people can shop around more easily. Have a URL and/or a QR code in the ad so people can sign up easily. Try and upsell them the more advanced hosting package at (say) $2 a month.
    4. After you've got more than 31 sign-ups, you'll be making at least $1 a day passive income.

It will take a while to break even at this low rate, but eventually that $1 per day will be pure profit.

Tip: back-up everything on a weekly (or even daily basis) just in case your cheapo web hosting company goes out of business. That way, if the worst happens, you can find another webhost and transfer everything over.

Just to me, $1.00 a month seems like a really cheap amount. And, since most offline customers are likely to pay more, I would actually charge more than this amount. Though this seems like a very valid idea.

I read that you are willing to work hard but don't have a credit card. How about trading some of your time to deliver a service or product (Fiverr, Elance, oDesk), THEN develop a product for CB for passive income? Or develop a lesson to place on Udemy that people can subscribe (buy)? Or create a YouTube channel (for advertising income based on views)?

Seems like people are giving you some great ideas, it's just a matter of starting on the active income then developing a system of passive income.

Whatever you do, stick with it and take failure as feedback. One of the most common reasons why people fail is because they jump from one strategy to another strategy and instead of getting good at ONE strategy they suck at 10. If you want to make money online you have to be good at what you do.

      Hi Joe,

This is probably one of the best advice provided here. I guess this would be the situation for many people, starting something and if it doesn't work from the first go, moving to something else.

You have to start somewhere. And, so many are still working the 9-5 job, though at home by taking on these service type gigs. These gigs are good for generating some instant money (assuming you are not facing too much competition), but the money stops once you stop. There's nothing residual about a Fiverr gig (unless it's a downloadable item). Having a goal of just $1.00 a day is admirable as you can then move up to $5.00 a day and then $10.00 and then so on.

Offer to recruit affiliates for an offer owner. Tell him/her you'll contact 20 targeted affiliates per day for $10. That's a great offer for anybody who needs more affiliates sales. And let's face it, we all need more affiliate sales.

Really the best way would be to build a website and try to rank for a few easy keywords that can generate a steady amount of traffic.

You can also over achieve this by creating a viral blog website and just create amazing articles (lists, funny, emotional, caring, strange, scary type stuff) that people will pass around. Use Adsense or some CPM companies ads on the site. You might have promote it though here and their through ad companies just to get it lifted if you know you have great content. If you have good content and social buttons people will share. Keep building long tail quality articles eventually Google is going to rank you for something even without links. Takes time but can make you butt loads of money in the long run if you stuck with it, did not give up.

Find really obscure products (like how to build a chicken coop) and write a lot of content around it. If you can find an affiliate product offering a $30 commission all you need is 1 sale per month.

If you can get enough content out there you'll get consistent traffic with very little maintenance. Yes, you do need to put in some work at first but after that it's worth it.

Rinse and repeat (if you can do so without losing your marbles). Personally, I can only write about things I'm actually interested in.

That would be $550 more than if he hadn't done it, right?

I am trying to reach that goal through Google AdSense, but I am only half way there. And it's sort of passive, but not quite.

One idea is to do YouTube + CPA. Rank for a medium keyword and get to the top of YouTube for it. Put the CPA link in the descriptions and video screen and you should get some cash from it. It all depends on the competition of the keywords and how much the CPA offer pays you etc.

Yeah, these are definitely NOT passive income streams.
Email Marketing may come the closest but it is still a long term commitment where you have to keep performing day in and day out

You need to up your anty à little bit there Anyhow here are à few ideas....

    1. Start à Fiverr gig one order à day is 4 bucks.

    2. Find à high converting cpa offer through maxbounty, or Peerfly and place à banner on a blog, advertise the cpa offer through social network sites if allowed for that offer Facebook groups, Twitter, etc....

    3. Sell your kidney on the black market jk on that one moving on.

    4. Start an email list and drive traffic to your squeeze page and promote related affiliate products. This alone can make you à nice income if you learn how to put together à high converting funnel.

    5. Offer services that you can do for other marketers that are in demand web création, seo, etc...

    6. Place Google adsense ads on your blog or web 2.0 pages last i Seen hubpages allows this but double check been à while since I have used them.

Place an ad on Craigslist for website design and then outsource it on Fiverr. I have done this and made $300-$400 each time. You need to build a nice website to use as an example. You could get this done on Fiverr for $5 plus the logo design for another $5.

You could sell the websites cheaper but don't go to cheap. The lower price seems to decrease sales for some reason. Just check you market. If you don't want to deal with hosting, sign them up with your affiliate link. This will be another $50 or so.

Set up a blog and write quality evergreen content around a particular topic. This will take some time. But, once you get to the track, you will start making "passive" income. There are lots of ways to monetize a blog. Just google it and you'll find a lot...

I think you are absolutely right in focus on investing your time to achieve your goal.

Focus on one avenue and start building. Maybe it is a website, blog etc. Consistently add to the body of work. And build a list with it. If you are providing good content people will find you.

If you choose Youtube start churning out videos. It is the accumulation of material that will give you a broad base of traffic and the possibility of making money.

I've read this thread many times over since it was started forever ago. I hate to add to it, but I have found many ideas in this thread. I don't think it is possible to read without getting excited or coming out without another idea.

I don't think I've see it mentioned, or don't recall if it has, but another idea would stock photo or stock video sites. Become a member, do your magic, and it is similar to the concept of Kindle. It might not be as active, but it is much easier to create content. Post your photos in on online portfolio and it should drive even more traffic with Google image search. Just an idea I had as I was adding an affiliate link for a video site.

There are many ways o make passive income, and just $1 a day is nothing. That's basically at least $30 a month. You can do that by starting a website, gaining some traffic and selling space for one single ad! And if you manage to sell more than one... there ya go! More passive income.

Become an affiliate for online subscription products in any of these large niches: health, wealth and relationships (where there will always be buyers).

You need a system in place to make it truly passive (i.e. a website with affiliate links and a profitable funnel to make continuous sales). You'll have to put the work in up front until you have a system that is generating a positive ROI. *Make sure you can outsource this work as well.

Once you begin profiting from your affiliate links with what I mentioned above, you can "set it and forget it" if you're happy with the returns you're getting, or promote even more products. I believe there will always be some maintenance required with this though. It's not quite passive income, but it's very close.

The key thing is having a system in place.

    Good luck in your search!
