PayPal Websites Payment Pro

Hello,

I' trying to set PP Payments Pro up on my site.

My account was approved by PayPal (I have a Paypal Hong Kong verified Business account) for Payments Pro.

I have integrated to my site and the error i get and my customers are getting is

"Merchant country not supported"

From Googling it would appear that pre 2012 it used to be the case that it was only UK, US and Canada but now they have opened up to other countries

You can see this here

https://www.x.com/developers/paypal/...ility-and-fees

I've spoken with Paypal and they say there is nothing wrong with my account so all should be working... but it's not

Anyone had this issue with this and got it working?

Thanks

Did you use a proxy at all... Perhaps their servers "thought" you were from somewhere else..?

Also... Could it be to do with where your customers are from. Send me a payment link, and I'll see if it shows me an error (I'm in the UK).

Hi, I had a look at your website, and the paypal payment method was working.

It's the credit card thing that's not working. To be honest, you can just disable the credit card payment method, and only accept paypal. The issue is nothing to do with paypal.

If you want to accept credit cards, let people check out with paypal, and let them click on the "Pay with my credit card" option on the paypal check out page.

I just checked it, and it works.

        Hope this helps

The only issue with that is that people have to have a PP account associated with that card (if they don't they have to create one).

          Thanks anyways.
