How does one achieve success marketing online? Truly?

It's far from easy, but so very simple.

1. Think About What You Love Doing the Most. What makes you feel the best? Is it helping people? Changing the world a little? A lot? Making a difference? Building a successful business from the ground up? Making sure you are not forgotten?

2. Decide to Do What You Love, and Do It Well. Friedrich Nietzsche said "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how." These words are beautiful and true, and you'll do well to not forget them. In deciding what it is that you truly love, try to see it as finding your purpose.

3. Commit Yourself Entirely to This Pursuit. In other words, start writing some goals, timeframes, expectactions, game plans, ideas, notes, etc. Make yourself a visual board and start posting up pictures on it of the things you know you can achieve. Make the whole thing real and organized. DO IT!

4. Decide to Eliminate The Quit Option. Promise yourself that no matter how bored you get, no matter how difficult it becomes, no matter what, you MUST NOT QUIT. You've officially eliminated the option to quit. It's gone. You now MUST go on.

5. Take Massive Action and Constantly Revise Approach as Necessary. This very basic method/mindset is borrowed from one of my absolute favorite mentors in self-improvement, Anthony Robbins. Simply DO, over and over, until you Succeed. Sound too simple? The most profound truth always does.

6. Repeat Step 5 Continuously Until Success is Realized.

7. Share Your Success With Others. It is truly in giving, that you receive. The sooner you realize this truth, the sooner you realize utter joy and contentment. Try me.

  • I respectfully disagree with this.

    I love to sit on my butt and watch basketball games.

    But this isn't going to get me any closer to getting rich.

    Sure, it's important to do what you love... But it's equally as important to make sure that whatever you are doing or producing, people are willing to give you money for.

    So it's the overlap between doing what you love and what people will pay you for... It's this special sweet spot to build your business around.

    • Hey Tonyb, There are plenty of ways to make money without peeps paying for anything. ;-)

      True you probably can't find a way to make money watching basketball. However, you can create a blog about basketball using what you learn from watching it, then monetize the blog with affiliate products like b-ball jerseys, b-ball shoes, b-ball hats, signed posters, etc etc etc.
