You might find this document useful. It has a lit of 170 free press release sites. However, I don't know how many of them are still active, open to new registrations and how many allow anchor text links:

Please respond and let me know what your experience was.

If your company is a technology/IT related company you are likely to have more and more exposure through PR submission. Because press releases are generally used to introduce new services and products of a company. IT companies have got new products regularly.

Other markets too can get exposure through PR.

Thanks for the list dude. I have recently written my first PR and submit to PRlog. I want to know can i submit the same PR to other PR sites or it is the same bogus thing of spun the PR and than submit ?

It depends of the PR site rules. Normally you can submit the same press release to different sites, except if they specify that you can only submit a unique one to them.

For example PRlog has 2 free services, but one is exclusive and allows you to add more tags and a front page listing. You can compare them here:

So if you want to submit the same to many different PR sites then just use their standard free submission.

Press Release Paper is a free PR site which accepts press releases for free. Its a moderated site, but new submission are approved within a day or two.

wow this is pretty flippant info in here.

I do very well with press releases, and I am going to give you one of my biggest secrets.

The thing with press releases is if you use free sites, you will get very dismal results, the traffic you get is very poor.

If you use paid services like PRWEB.com Webwire and others, you will get very good results.

Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money. I even use a retired journo, to write my releases, so just guess how good they are. That is another secret, a crappy press release gets crappy results. You gotta make sure you story goes viral. And is not just a crappy article, like some people out there think.

Stay away from free sites, and pay a little for better results. If you cant pay $80 for a decent submission to quality press release sites, like PRWEB, well then you are waisting your time.

Our last release there bought in over 900 subscribers, calls in, and many sales. I would not care if it costed me double $160 to use PRWEB.

Thanks mate. I just wrote this to help out, I was skeptical before about press releases...but on my very first press release I doubled my sales.... and back then I did not even know how to write a decent one, and the viral aspect that you need to implant in them to make them succeed.

It is tricky at times, but still I do not write any of these now, I hire someone who spend 20 years doing it. I mean, how can you beat that. So I pay him, and then pay to submit to PRweb and a few others....and PRICELESS is the right way to describe it, especially if you make your press release stick, and make people want to read it and visit your site.

Congrats on your dating niche. There are so many ideas and viral aspect you and use for this niche and a press release, even if you lived to 100 there would be lots of ideas you could use, to make males think...wow.. I better go read this, and then BANG, see some good results. Well done.
