Whats the first thing to do when starting out

Hello Everyone

I am trying to get into IM so far i've signed up to clickbank and created a landing page with wordpress.

What do next ?

- I am planning on reading one thread a day in the New? Read This! sticky

- I am planning on submitting one article to EZINE articles for the next 30 days, are there any pointers anyone can give me for article marketing websites / ebooks i can read, i have read everything in the New? Read This! sticky

- Beyond this i have no idea what to do

I feel as if there's something huge and important i could be missing, what is the first thing you did when you were green, how can i kick this thing off

WHAT ACTIONS CAN I TAKE IMMEDIATELY

    Buy a domain, host it and create a landing page.
    Find a product to promote.
    Write a lot of articles and submit them to ezine.

    I would up my EZA submissions in the beginning. One a day will not cut it. Try to do 5 a day for a week. That is a better test than one every 30 days.

    The important thing you feel you have left out is the "keyword research" aspect of writing your articles. Instead of reading one thread a day from that sticky, go find two or three really good threads on keyword research and study those, first.

    Find something you enjoy. To be successful you need to spend hours upon hours upon hours creating useful and unique articles to drive traffic to your landing page(s) (unless you outsource that is). I simply think about the things I would buy, or like to buy, then start small campaigns from there.
