Could anyone explain what I should offer on my squeeze page?

Hi,

I sell product that teaches how to build a list.

What should I give as a free gift on my squeeze page?

I'm asking because I just don't understand.

Thank you

    What's your niche?

Give away something related to your niche...something your visitors would be interested in reading or viewing.

If it's weight loss, for example, give them some weight loss tips in pdf or video form. The purpose is to give a sample of you and your content, and whet their appetite for more.

If you want people interested in building a list, they'll be already familiar with list building, sort of, so that's easier in a way :-)

I'd recommend what you offer to be very specific in terms of numbers.
Like "How I got my first 1,000 subscribers in 2 weeks. Learn this easy way from my experience for free."
Or any such claim, that you can then explain in a few emails, before offering your complete package to go beyond.

I would give a free report on a related subject. The report can be around 12-15 pages but it must have very good information. It is better to have a smaller report that one that is just full of fluff. If you use PLR make sure you rewrite a substantial amount of it and change the title and get new graphics. I find Fiverr a good place to get a cover.

Forigve me for asking the obvious, here, but isn't the answer to the questions you're asking in the product?

    Hi

You don't have to give anything away for free on your squeeze page. Just ask for the email and then send them to your sales page. If they buy they move to your buyers list. If they pass, they stay on your prospects list.

This is your product, not an affiliate offer, right?

If you want to offer a 'freebie', give them something that explains the benefits of a list, money making ideas for a list and a lot of good, but general list building ideas.

Promote your product in the freebie and follow up series as a detailed method of implementing all the general information they are learning from your freebie.

    Hey NM

I know you have a product and what you could do is get a good PLR product, also in relation to Online Marketing/List building. Again make sure you review the content of that book.

Make changes if you see fit and also add links/URL'S to that book if you so wish that will link back to your products sales page of that product you have for sale also in relation to list building.

Now when subscribers opt in via your landing pages they can be re-directed to your sales pages of your products sales page. However your auto responder can be set up where the free ebook is sent to their inbox regardless.

So now you have prospects directed to your sales page after opt-in . If they decide not make a purchase then they still get your free product.

INSURE your free product/Report is of good high quality content. If you over deliver on quality content, Subscribers will think WOW, So much information here i can only imagine whats in the the product thats for sale, no brainer!

Again remember those links you placed in your free report, Those will lead back to your sales page of the product, also again that subscriber may recommend your report and pass it on, chain email possibly? Again your link is in that report - potential of sales from people who never even opted in.

Well just remember, your work or your information , reflects on your reputation so make sure, you don't sacrifice losing prospects for a quick buck so to speak.

Maintain a positive reputation and always over deliver.

    Hope this helps

    Samuel

Most of the advice here is technically teaching the OP how to build a list, this is confusing

On a related note, I've decided to open a medical school and teach surgery.

When you do an operation, do you start with the sharp pointy thingy or the sharp knifey thingy?

To answer the original question, how about a link to someone who knows what they are talking about? Then skip the opt-in form altogether...

Jeez ... Some of you guys seem to really enjoy trolling for newbies to verbally flog. What happened to "there is no such thing as a stupid question"?

Sometimes the irony just makes it irresistable.

"I want to teach people how to build a list, and I want to get paid for it. What should I offer them to sign up for my list?"

Really? This may be the "exception that proves the rule", as it pertains to stupid questions.

The lesson here is don't fake it till you make it!
        Rubbish!

The entire plr industry is about faking it till you make it. He is probably reselling plr or resell rights material. Well known gurus use plr and resell rights materials. What he should not do is run a webinar or give coaching classes. I don't see the problem with him reselling a book he did not write. which is what I am assuming he is doing.

Are you aware of how many very skilled and talented writers you have just dissed??

PLR is just one method that writers utilize for their earnings, offering pieces to many with a recurring income rather than just selling that piece one time and earning less.

News flash! Poor writers offer poor plr, talented writers offer excellent plr. Sheesh! Nothing like throwing every plr author under the bus!

Hi New Market! I hope all is well with you. Well, your goal is to teach people how to build a list correct?

So you want to have something very similar to that subject. Maybe a ebook, free report, or even a video where you give a few tips on how to begin building there email subscriber list.

I hope this information does you well

    Kind regards

    - Thanks for the joke! I like my President's Day long weekend to be funny somewhere in between. Good luck in your "un-understandable" free gift production endeavors!

I would try giving away a free eBook that is related to the niche and whatever interests your website visitors. Something that helps to solve a need.

I am a plr writer myself
And I dont think i insulted anyone

All I meant is PLR is meant for others (newbies especially) to sell as their own
hence the fake it till you make it part

I wasn't insinuating that PLR writers themselves are faking it

Okay, I'm confused then. Are you saying that you are just faking it til you make it as a real writer?
