Congratulations on creating your own product!

The main difference between ClickBank and JVZoo is that with JVZoo you get the contact details of your affiliates, but with ClickBank you do not.

But I would not call either of these affiliate programs 'hands-off'. Because you have go out there and recruit your own affiliates.

Where you'll find more affiliates who want to sign up to your program is with Warrior Plus, which works in conjunction with this forum. But here, of course, you need to offer a better deal than Warriors can get elsewhere.

And you will need to carefully check the credentials of each applicant and be confident you know them and can rely on them.

When hiring affiliates you need to be aware that the Pareto 80/20 rule does not apply: it's more like 95/5, which means that only around 5% of your affiliates will product a meaningful number of sales.

So it really is a case of 'numbers count' - being careful with your recruiting and looking after your best affiliates. You might also want to consider offering a larger slice of the sale price than 50%, because the best affiliates are those who don't hammer their list members into the ground with offer after offer. So when they do mail out a promo they want to know they are getting a good paycheck.

There really isn't that much you need to know about recruiting affiliates

The most important thing is you have a good product

Secondly you need to make sure you make your commission structure worthwhile for affiliates to spend the time promoting your products

And thirdly pick a good affiliate platform. I have always used warrior plus and have picked up a boat load of affiliates using it

The 2 most important things that you need to focus on if you want to pick up lots of affiliates is make sure you have a solid product and get your epc as high as you can. Your conversions don't mean a thing. It's epc which serious affiliates look at.

It looks to me like Click Bank is the most comprehensive . They seem to run a pretty good show and it's easy to work with.. Best of luck.

Affiliates will mainly concerned with how they are getting paid so jvzoo and clickbank are both reliable platforms, although Clickbank has a larger amount of active affiliates...
