Clickbank's "account rating system" - is it broken?

Hi all,

What do you think of Clickbank's account rating (color coding) system? I think it might be faulty.

They state that "There is a direct correlation between refund and chargebacks and overall account risk tier."

I have a "perfect score" of 100, and have had zero refunds and zero chargebacks on my most recent product... a zero refund rate is rare.... and they are currently rating my account "below average"........ I haven't been selling as an affiliate so no strikes there either.... what gives?

I think it definitely has issues. Today one of my accounts was marked as "UNACCEPTABLE", however the refund rate is 4.17% and the chargeback rate is 0.66.

I had 2 chargebacks in the past week, which rarely happens, and now the "predicted" chargeback rate is 2.95%. I've had this account for 5 years with thousands of sales and NEVER had a Chargeback rate over 1% or even close.

So yeah, it has some issues.

and of course, tomorrow it may not be "unacceptable". Go figure.

Have you had any on the account though?

i.e is that product the only product on the account?
