I'm in a slump...How can I make some quick cash?

My site recently dropped from the search engines and I have no income right now. I'm working my rump off to get my new sites into the search engines, but I can't seem to pull it off. What's working right now? Thanks in advance.

Focus on generating traffic to your websites through means other than the search engine.

I think you should take this as a learning experience to never put all of your eggs in one basket.

Especially relying solely on Google for traffic because that's only waiting for an accident to happen (which it did.)

Stay away from the search engines, they will get you everytime. Try getting into PPC if you need some quick cash.

NEVER rely on any search engine for income. Search engines can be good and fine but never rely on them SOLELY for income.

Find other means like what Alex said; PPC, Article Syndication, and other means which don't DIRECTLY involve search engines.

You don't want them to call the shots about how much you should earn thru rankings, right?

Look for a good service to provide. A services is a lot easier to sell than a product simply because most people would rather pay someone else to do work, such as written content, washing windows, grass cutting, etc.

There are lots of things you could do. Go to Warriors for Hire and offer your services there if you want to work at home still or register at Elance or Odesk and offer your services there.

What about trying to generate traffic through blogging? You can target as many keywords as you want when writing. It's widely common but it should work. Much of the traffic we get to our site comes from our writing seo stuffs. You should try to work on that.

I wouldn't give up on SEO quite yet.

I still Crush it with SEO, and it's one of my favorite techniques. Paid traffic is pretty sweet too, but nothing says passive more than SEO niche sites that bring in money for years with little work once setup properly.

Some of my sites tanked too, but I quickly accessed and observed what was working and what wasn't. Be ready to always evolve with SEO on a daily basis. If you don't adapt, you won't get no love from Google.

    As far as Quick Cash?

Then start building lists with simple landers that convert.

If you got some money, then use paid traffic like solo ads, media buying and ppc.

Or you can quickly build a list using Free Traffic too!

-Youtube videos are killer for free traffic for your list building.
-Get some articles written and submitted to directories by using places like 99centarticles and iSnare. Get syndicated and be ready for a gush of instant traffic.
-Don't forget about utilizing forums, blogs, and social media.

Or, Create your own simple eBook.

This is practically a FREE method to get subscribers to your list, but also to make passive money by adding whatever links into your ebook, like OTO's, and you'll have them on your list for future sales too.

Don't forget that you can sell your little ebook too, if you didn't want to give out for free. You can distribute it in free ebook directories and by using all the other free traffic generation methods.

If you can't make money from this, then maybe it's time to start looking for a jobby job?

    Good luck to ya.

Fastest way to make money online?

Offer a service you can do for others.

    The HARD part?

Overdelivering and standing out from the crowd.

    Hello,

Remember its important if you use solo ads to find good ezines that are targeted to your specific niche.

My niche is IM, making money online, starting an internet business and you would be surprised as to how many potential advertisers want to advertise other products that dont fit my niche. Of course I turn them away and give them the same advice...

    Best wishes!

    SELL SELL SELL.

There are SO MANY THINGS you can SELL.

Just find stuff, and sell it. Organize information, free resources, tutorials, find stuff at thrift sources, wholesale stores, sell services, sell knowledge, all you got to do is do it.

Its probably the most valuable skill a person can have. Whether its selling in print, phone or in person. And when you get good at it, you'll never have a problem making money.

If truly in a slump, then either sell something on some classified ads site, ebay or some work-for-hire site (short term), and take measures to never ever get into another slump (long term).

I agree with several posters here - selling things on eBay and Craigslist are two ways to make fast cash.

You can list items on Craigslist and have someone come over and give you cash today.

You can list items on eBay (3-day listings) and have someone pay you (paypal) in 3 days.

        It's simple and quick.

I am fascinated by how many people here ignore eBay as a way to make fast cash online.

Sure it's not as "exciting" as making thousands a month on autopilot, but it's a heck of a lot more likely to happen, realistic and fast.

By the way, I'm doing free webinars every couple of weeks this year all about how to make money on eBay / Craigslist / Amazon. Just PM me if you're interested in the details.
