An EzineArticles.com question: Can you redirect to ClickBank?

by Johnny12345 3 replies
I've seen EzineArticles.com articles that redirect to a ClickBank product. They use a domain name that they own (in their resource box at the end of the article), but the domain just immediately redirects to CB.

Is that allowed? It certainly would make things easier, but I thought EZA required that resource/signature boxes link to a real page.

Thanks,

Johnny

From my understanding, it's not allowed but the only way to get a
definitive answer to your question is to write to EZA and ask them.

I guess it's not realistic to check every single link in those thousands of articles flooding their system on a daily basis. Once they see a domain without any aff extensions - I guess it's OK with them. But it's just my guess.

They do not allow you to link directly to them (it causes SEO issues for them when there are too many hoplink.clickbank.net urls). However, you can create a jump script on your own site that redirects. They are fine with that as they end up with a diverse group of urls in their directory.
