My Youtube videos are listed in Google but without the thumbnail

So, I've started playing with Youtube videos for the first time.

And I"m running into something odd. For a few of my videos, I'll see listing in Google. However, oddly enough, Google is not showing the thumbnail-sized screen capture next to the listing. Any person skimming the results might not even realize that that listing is for a video on Youtube.

Since one of the great benefits of ranking videos is how those thumbnails pop out in the listings and visually grab the searcher, I feel like I'm not getting the bang I should be getting.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Does this possibly have to do with being logged into Google while I search, so it is somehow incorporating information from my own activity history?

    Did a quick search around the web. It seems like some people experiencing this were using specific browsers. Have you tried looking for your videos in other browsers? Perhaps its an issue with that and not the video or the search result.

    Also, some people mentioned it happening when videos were brand new. You could try changing the thumbnail pic in video settings and then searching for it again to see if it appears for you.
