Hello,

I just finished my ebook and was wondering how can I get a good honest review about it without having so many people who just want a free copy of it?

Hey Maggy, I'll give you a genuine and honest review about your eBook in the morning if you're willing to send me a copy of it! Send me over a PM if you are interested.

Find individual members and PM them. I think that's the best way to avoid freeloaders.

    Maggy,

I think you should start approaching your good friends from the forum if you feel people are getting your book for free. You'll find some take your copy and won't return a review. It's not because people always want it for free, but never get around to read the copy like some do when even paid money for it.

Personally, I happen to receive lots of review requests. And with all respect, I don't feel like I am reading anything for free. Rather, it's costing me time to read it.

But, I like your approach for a review "first", instead of asking for testimonials in exchange of review copies. If a product warrants testimonials, people give them to you.

If your product gives greater ROI than the opportunity cost people spent reading it. I am sure it's a great book.

Thank you. I am still kind of new here so my friend list right now is empty. But this is good information for me to remember for the future.

I never looked at it that way. You are so right.
