Google is about to lunch internet connected spec next year, as thing are changing faster these days, so i want to ask that where would traffic come from in the nearest future?.

Search engines, social media, video sites, paid advertising and so on. Much the same as it has done for years.

  Microwaves, cars, remote controls, shower, food and drink packaging, labeling. It's not new in fact. Soon will be 100% digital and measurable. Cross selling.
  
  But ultimate traffic will come from us! Social networks are future in my opinion (principles of MLM but in digital form...)

Brands are going to rule soon I think because Google DOES favor them highly. Google likes aged websites - not aged domains newly acquired with new websites - but AGED, BRAND WEBSITES.
That's what Google is trying hard to do - make the brands top dog for search and everyone else relegated to bottom scraping.

The future if traffic is a paid traffic

From Facebook, solo ads, banners, pop out exit traffic and so on

But there are free ways too
