How do you create YouTube videos and is video marketing good for selling ebooks?

Am looking into using YouTube as a platform to promote my ebook, or even blog.

My questions are: Is YouTube the right place to attract potential buyers to my ebook(or direct them to my blog)?

How do I go about creating a YouTube video for my ebook?

Thoughts anyone..?

Thanx guys!

I have managed to build up quite a successful neobux account and every day i see the same two ebooks promoted via youtube while clicking my ads.
The trader in pyjamas and Another video.

Sign up and click the ads and you're bound to see them They usually show up while you click your adprizes.

If you are unsure of how to make videos yourself you can always find gigs on fiverr that might suit your needs.

What sort of video format were you thinking of using? Some videos can be very simple to make others take a lot more effort and software.

It's pretty simple using MS Powerpoint combined with the free Windows Movie Maker Software to make a video, or even just use You Tube's own video making software.

Just play around until you get something you like, I'm sure there must be tutorials on You Tube.

Free Youtube marketing is how I made my first ever information sales and they're definitely good for selling ebooks.

Take a few small parts of info from your ebook, normally the best 4-7 pieces of info in there, and use each one to make a video

We use Youtube quite effectively to pull in traffic to different landing pages that feed our sales funnel within which we then market our ebooks. I wouldn't focus on just promoting your ebook, I would focus on producing a video a week with a helpful tip related to your market and then drive traffic back to other videos, a free report, a free e-course, etc...which will bring those viewers into your sales funnel - that's where you can market your ebook.

What some people have done is that they re purpose their content by converting it into video and upload to the video directories. They will direct the visitors to the squeeze page so that they will be able to collect the details and follow up with them through email.

I personally will take this approach if I am going to do video marketing.

I don't think Youtube is the right place for selling an E-Book. I hardly think people would wanna watch the video about an Ebook.
