How and what is the best way to run a personal coaching?

Hi Warriors,

Do you run your own personal coaching? How do you operate your Personal coaching?

I'm planning to run my personal coaching on web technical aspects (since I'm a programmer and a web developer).

Therefore, I would like to know what is the best way to run a personal coaching?

I would also like to know what tool(s) do you use for your personal coaching program?

Thanks in advance!

    Use Skype.
Most students will have the same set of questions initially.
To cut down on time providing support to your students, create a good video series for them to watch before conducting your personal coaching.

Try Google your competitors You should be able to find out what they offer. Typically, tools required: email, skype, platform to support and deliver training material. You can also consider remote access software so that you can show them how to do on their computer.

The setup of a membership site with a private Skype room to communicate with others is a good model.

    Membership site for info

    Skype room for contact

I agree with James on this one.

Main site for any training modules as a "semi static" site where training is there in "modules" that can be accessed at any time. Updates can go on as and when applicable. You might also want to consider drip feeding the modules to new members, say one module per week with an action sheet at the end of each module so they can complete the steps within and then action what they have learned before moving onto the next module. This helps stop the dreaded "Information Overload"

Maybe a weekly webinar covering any updates you want members to be aware of and then open it up at the end for Q&A.

Then a private Skype group for all members so they can interact with each other, motivate, help etc etc.

An active Skype group in itself will very quickly start to take pressure off your support desk too, as you find that as members progress through the course they will be able to, and often do answer questions in the skype group from newer less experienced members.

      Hope that helps buddy!

I run my coaching program with different tiers tied to a membership site, make use of video, forum, email and weekly call-in blocks where my clients can call in and go over the week's progress. I also find having solid checklists, step-by-step manuals is important.

I'm just running my first coaching, and I'm using only skype for one on one sessions, and it's going great, clients are very happy and satisfied with what they get..

For my next coaching when I put it up, I'll sell the limited number of seats first, then invite them all to a private skype room and coach them all at the same time.. it will be less time consuming for me, but I think the quality will not be lowered..

    Best of luck

I personally think that when you coach others, it is better to create a members area only so that people can interact with you at the same time.

You can upload videos to it.

    You can write text.

I just think that spending time with each person on SKYPE is a total waste of time and it takes a long time to coach more and more people.

      Thanks for all answers guys!

I've already created a membership site and got 42 people subscribed to my membership.

At the moment, they have received training videos and reports.

However, starting on 2nd week of March onward, I'm offering live 1 hour personal coaching for each of them. They will have to "book" a date and time that I already scheduled on my site.

That is why I want to know what is the best way to operate this 1 hour personal coaching. For your information, this is my first attempt to run a personal coaching. :-)

Therefore, I shall use Skype as one of the tools as most of you suggest it.

Remove access software. Sounds interesting. I shall consider it. Thanks Johnny!
