Hotel niche question

Hello, I have some domains for making a hotel site for hotels in las vegas or miami, but I wonder how profitable is this niche, how would I make money? though hotel affiliate links or adsense or similar to adsense?

Do you have one? what is your experience?

    I don't have one in hotel niche.
    However, hotel niche is one of the toughest one to embark one, beside banks/insurance.

    I truly recommend not to work on this niche unless you know what you are doing.
    You are competing with the big players.

    If you are still keen, try CPA, forget about adsense ( you will not do well definitely, too competitive)

    I was in the Las Vegas hotels niche for a while. Here's the problem with it: Cheap rates and short stays make for weak affiliate commisions.

    For example, the average stay in Las Vegas is 3-4 days. The average stay for a New York Hotel is 7 days, or twice as long.

    Then, a New York hotel costs 3x as much as a Las Vegas hotel. If you do the math, you'll see that booking one NY hotel room will be about 6x more than booking one Las Vegas room.

    locate the management of every hotel in that area and offer a unique service as a package. attract people, bring customers to those who agree with you. everything else is painful and nothing to calculate with or in the end you will be happy to trash the domains

    For this niche, a lot of research is needed.

    Why are you limiting yourself to las vegas or miami?

    I would research buyers keywords for hotels. Find what hotel or long tail keyword people search for with low competition. Something you would be able to rank for.

    Then I would have affiliate links for the hotels.

    I would still build a list for this niche. Give away a list of the best hotels. I would use keywords I could rank for in an article leading to your free gift. It would be targeted traffic rather then someone subscribing out of interest.
